Title: I Want to Create a Decentralized Exchange. What Features Do You Want?
Hello everyone!
I’m planning to build a decentralized exchange (DEX) that aims to provide a safer, more efficient crypto trading experience. But to make it truly user-focused, I need your ideas and suggestions!

Here’s What I’d Like to Know:
Trading Features

What types of trading pairs do you want? Which blockchains should be supported (e.g., Ethereum, BSC, Polygon)?
Do you need cross-chain swap functionality (e.g., BTC ⇌ ETH)?
Fee Structure

What kind of fee structure would you prefer? (e.g., low fees, dynamic fees)
Should part of the fees be refunded or used to burn tokens?
User Experience

What kind of interface and workflow is the most user-friendly for you?
Do you need tools like trading bots, chart analysis, or price alerts?
Liquidity Incentives

What methods would best incentivize users to provide liquidity? (e.g., token rewards, NFT rewards)
Do you want concentrated liquidity features like Uniswap V3?

Privacy and Security

Do you need extra privacy features? (e.g., anonymous trading)
What security measures would make you feel more confident? (e.g., smart contract audits, insurance pools)
Additional Innovative Features

Would you like features such as limit orders, options trading, or leveraged trading?
Should we integrate DeFi ecosystem functionalities, like yield farming or lending markets?
Community Governance

Would you prefer a governance token to participate in platform decision-making?
What kind of governance model would feel the most fair to you?

One of the major differenciating factors between CEX and DEX is the UI/UX. While the developers of CEX build something user friendly, DEX doesn't consider user friendly as priority. This easy to use situation of centralized exchanges tend to invite new commers to CEX rather than DEX. This is why so many newbies infact uses exchanges as wallets. If you can build an good UI, it will be a plus.

Also, don't fail to consider how you handled liquidity problems.

Major problem for a newly launched decentralised perpetual exchange is Liquidity. The problem extends if it is a spot and perps exchange, as cross-chain liquidity is a pain in the ass. You need coins from several chains to be escrowed by a third party and it costs lot of money to own the third party service provider for cross chain liquidity for spot deposits and withdrawals, just like hyperunit for Hyperliquid. They are handling the things well so far. Just look at Hyperliquid for how they are moving and you can create a dex but in reality it will be a lot difficult.
