You want someone to trust you, but you can't provide the same number in the title and the post? In any case, you cannot prove that it is your wallet - and even if you give it to someone as a gift, if you have set a long password consisting of random numbers, letters and special characters, there is no help (at least for now).

If you have at least some clues as to what the password consists of and how many characters it has, I suggest you try this service - the only legitimate one that I personally know exists.

@Team-Rocket, I think that's the best option to succeed in unlocking those coins - and considering the price of BTC, I would do everything possible to try to remember the password or at least some details that would help it be broken using brute force. If by any chance you succeed, be sure to let us know here so we know if the service I recommended to you was successful - and of course if you get that little fortune you'll at least pay for a beer Wink

Hi Team-Rocket - I tried to PM you as I had a proposal that doesn't include selling your wallet. Any chance you could enable that so I can send you a message?

That wallet file is known to be fake.  A quick Google search will show you that its being sold by scammers everywhere.  You are either part of the scam or a victim yourself, trying to recoup your losses.

What evidence can you provide that the wallet given is legitimate and that you are the real owner?

That address you mentioned in the OP is well-known in the forum. The person who pointed it out did an excellent job!

LIST OF AVAILABLE FILES "wallet.dat" [There may be slight variations (to more) in the indicated balance]:
<...>
- Balance = 22.85001641 BTC. (Main Bitcoin Address: 19Hj5Pzi4hCj12porw97i183XYTrScbtXS). Doubtful.

I suggest that you give valid proof of ownership. Otherwise, it would be highly suspicious.

Who in their right mind would think about selling a wallet file that has 22.8 BTC in it for just 1 BTC, even where there is the slightest chance to have it cracked?
And who would buy an encrypted wallet file that even the owner has completely failed to remember the password?

My guess, OP, just forgot to make this post today. It well suits the theme of the day.  Grin

I noticed from Bitcoin explorer that the total amount received in this wallet was extimated at 99.85btc since the late part of December 2013 and a total number of 77.73 has been transferred or withdrawn and left with 22.85 with the worth of $1.8m but I am not convinced yet that this wallet is your own. There is no concrete evidence to prove it's your wallet. If you can't find access to your wallet then I don't think anyone can help you here. There are high numbers of people with such case but as the slogan says  "not your key not your coin " this directly explain that if you don't have access to this wallet then you should just forget about it.

Good luck finding some moron. If someone genuinely had a wallet with 22.8 BTC (worth over $1.8 million at current prices), there are professional recovery services that would work on contingency rather than selling it at a massive discount.
