Tbh, I won't be surprised if it happens. Ethereum and ETH haven't been what it used to be despite still retaining the #1 position (for altcoins). If nothing is done by ETH leadership to make the tech better and good UX to return to the chain, there's a high possible of ETH losing #2 spot especially if Solana and Ripple becomes strategic reserves alongside Bitcoin.
