I saw this very tweet for X(pics above), I sae make I bring am come here to know our views about this dude talk about doing master degree when you never use your degree certificate chop.

Inasmuch job no plenty for our country to accommodate graduates wey d graduate every year, no be enough reason for peso to discredit peso wey wan further his or her education in master degree or PhD. The essence wey peso d go to university no be to make money alone. Na to grab knowledge to make them stand out in crowd when opportunities that arise therein. Certificate no d give peso automatic money as we see. Wetin d give peso money na your knowledge and practical application of knowledge wey you acquired.

Going by the fact that education d give money na wrong mentality because anybody go fit get this money. But if peso intention of going to university to make money, it's better to combine am with learning of skills than hoping only to get a good grades at the end of 4-5 years course.

Peso go fit have a first class or second class, still they are unemployed in our country today. What I am trying to say na certificate no d give peso money but em go fit give peso better opportunities if you sabi em d do, by letting school to pass through am than school not passing through am. That one no follow at all.

i personally agree with this thought process and except you have a good plan in place, i don't see why we kill ourselves to pursue degree upon degree when we cannot make use of it to solve anything meaningful in the country. the majority of the people that are going for their masters are either doing so just to get an appointment, JAPA out of the country or just so people will address them as doc or what have you.

except you have strong sponsors or a good job that is waiting for you, doing master's when you don't know how to make use of your first degree is for me a total waste of time. this is never to say that going to school is bad but as the country is, everyone needs to wise up and not spend all his active years going to school and studying what he will not make use of eventually. after i finished my first degree and discovered that if i am to go for my masters in my school that it will be these set of lecturers that don't look like they have something better to offer that will still take me in my masters programmed, i just had to rest for a while and try to make some money and establish myself first before thinking of furthering education again.

someone that suffered and struggled through his first degree should be wise enough to set basic structures on ground before thinking of going for masters. it is just wisdom and nothing less.

This particular tweet wey you share na something wey dey discourage plenty people to to do masters after dem don finish undergraduate. E actually dey very painful make you no see the result of your hardwork paying off and dem say make you go do more. Gone are those days wey be say even with your secondary school certificate, you fit get job wey go dey pay you well while still furthering your education in the institution. That state of unemployment for the country don too much wey be say with your degree certificate, e just be like say you just dey start school wey you suppose do to give you better job.

The truth be say, Education still dey very important and that na d reason why many people still dey go school even as them dey see say people wey go before them never see work with the certificate. Having a masters degree na elevation to when them wan come pick you for work, you dey at a better chance to get the work than person wey just do degree. My own be say, if way no dey for you to take sponsor your masters after your degree certificate, make you hustle to dey earn for yourself to either decide later whether to continue the school or stay back and focus on building a life through the hustle.

Do not be discourage about furthering your education as no one knows tomorrow, I have heard stories of how people with the same date of appointment are not on the same level again because of the level of certification that they have. Some jobs do not promote you to higher levels when you do not have further qualifications apart from the basic qualifications to get the job. Everybody is having Bs.c or the first degree in their discipline but when you further yours, you have gotten more advantage for yourself not just for the further advantage that you have received but for more job opportunities either in your place of work or other chances that might come out of no where. Always further your education when you have the money to do so but do not depend only on education. You should add skills to the certificate too.

I will use my self as a case study, yea! Presently, am not pursuing education right now. Am looking out for means of survival, how to make this money. After all, acquiring this education is also very high and needs enough money. Especially for those who don't have sponsors, just like me, I sought for means of survival after my NCE certificate. If I have gotten to a certain level of financial balance, I can now think of school because education is also very important. Yea, very important. First, for your sound mind, exposure to modernity and not to be lost to new things. And secondly, opportunities can come too that needs certificate, then you tender. But for those who have sponsors, I would prefer you go all through education, acquire all you can before taking a pause for money acquisition.  In a nutshell, acquire education and also acquire skills for making money, they are both very important if you must be relevant in the society. You should know how best to balance them depending on the situation life presents you..

It is indeed very ridiculous as it is now, knowledge is very important and no one should say anything against education. Those that seek to have that knowledge will always want to stick to it until they achieve their aim and objectives. If government work doesn’t pay you, then it doesn’t mean that the certificate you’ve earned from school is not worth it or will become useless. A day will come when all that you’ve studied and didn’t imagine studying it earlier will pave way for you into better things in lives. Education is important and no one should make you think or prove otherwise that you cannot make it with certificate again. That certificate is not a requirement or guarantee to success in life, it all revolves back to your motives in life and you want to achieve them.

Pushing for a more educational degree in Nigeria is a nice idea; many people in Nigeria are doing that, and they have a reason for that. For some people, it has paid out well for them to pursue a lecturing job or higher-paying jobs elsewhere in companies. Some nothing has come out yet, but that doesn't mean there certificate no mean anything, they are to give up about finding a job.

Wetin come d there be say, find something doing like business or skills as you are pursuing your educational degrees. Nigeria our country, we have learned and intelligent people who are ready to keep pushing for higher degrees no matter what. So no let anybody or wetin the happen for our country demoralize you for things you wan accomplish for educational degrees.
