There is no coin like bitcoin as of this time. Trump will find it difficult to compete with coins like Ethereum not to talk of bitcoin that is almost six times larger in marketcap than ethereum.

The hype on the coin was mainly because of Trumph campign and his aim to limit the regulations the US government (past) was given to crypto transactions in general which cause panic among crypto users and lead to long bear market period; and since he won election, Bitcoin attain new all time high which is properbably because of his influence.

Him lunching memecoin is to show his support and become a fully member of cryptocurrency and he has achieve his gol; but talking about replacing Bitcoin is nothing to discuss or compare about.

Eth, BNB, Sol, and other altcoins still have more popularity than this coin, and they didnt replace or they coldn't replace Bitcoin, therefore, I don't think there is any memcoin or altcoin that will replace Bitcoin.

Trumpcoin is just a memecoin with no use case, no blockchain, providing nothing to the crypto ecosystem instead of making profit to some and lose to some, but Trump made a very profitable choice by launching this meme he knew he would make millions of dollars from this meme and the way it got pumped and if I am not wrong it was among top 10 tokens as well.

I know there is a lot of hype associated with Trump right now because apart from him it is even possible that there will be other Trump family who will follow to make the same coin but is it appropriate when they are juxtaposed with bitcoin.
I understand that their hype is indeed quite profitable only for temporary momentum but in the end it still cannot be juxtaposed with bitcoin even saying they can replace bitcoin in my opinion is a very silly word.

Not even a chance, The Trump coin is a meme coin, the fact that it is a meme coin says everything, that it has no utility, still no one can replace Bitcoin anymore since it holds the spot of being the first one which gives it a good position in the market.  Also, I dont really know why he actually did this kind of dumb move, especially at this moment when he is actually becoming president, that just means that his kinda using his presidency at some point to market his token since millions of people are going to see it, I just can't see the point and he didn't even mention anything about it or anything about cryptocurrency.

There is some movement on Bitcoin because of Trump, it did reach its new high in the market, so there are some connections since Trump is obviously linked to crypto in the past year causing hype on the market. Trump and Melanie still didn't delete their post on X so to some extent they are obviously marketing it, still no official statement if he really knows something about it, I mean it might just be posted by his team without him knowing, I mean probably. Its obviously a disaster since one wallet hold a huge amount of supply so a lot of people are already liquidated, plus its a meme token.
