In this era we are in, where by people are looking for means to grow their money, i don't think people are keeping huge cash anymore, they are only keeping emergency funds in their safe, while the rest of the token goes into different investment and buying of assets that it's value will grow. Smart people will not just hold huge amount of cash without investing it in a place it will yield more cash.

Hoarding money if not for emergency situations, I don't see the use. If you really want to hold money, it should be you have the next the need to spend that money with in a year and it's something you will use soon, anything other than that means that you are putting yourself for something you will regret later msit especially if you are coming from a place where economy health is not good, inflation will kill every purchasing power that money has on it.

Let's even leave the value the money will lose, it doesn't make sense to hold money you are not going to use later. Saving it in the bank is like you are doing bank a favour because the banks give out the money you have with them as loan with huge interest rate higher than what the central banks gives them and the funny thing is that when you need that money and they don't have the amount with them, yiu have to accept the amount they have available for that time because you sign up for the terms and conditions, stop enriching the banks.

There are lot of people who invested their money in some companies and are holding some shares in those companies, people who hold money are likely very poor because I don't see any reason to hold money rather than saving it in the bank to give them some specific amount in returns.  Saving money in banks can either create additional profits which are very less than when they invest it on digital currencies such as bitcoin and any other cryptocurrencies, with cryptocurrencies specifically bitcoin there are no signs of inflations and you can get access to your investment at any giving time than fiats.

You're actually right because those who keep their money in the bank or even at home in the name of saving will soon realize that money loses value with time and it value depreciate over a given period due to inflation in the market this is the more reason that financial experts encourage people to invest their money into a productive venture that will that will bring back return on investment

Well I do think cash will always be the king of all the currencies. It is the currency we can use at any place we go to in this world. But I do think you will have alot more profit if you do invest in crypto currencies like Bitcoin.

And Bitcoin is a way for investors to grow our net worth. Because with cash we are not making any profits by hodling cash. I do think over the time cash does lose its value and Bitcoin does not. There is no inflation for crypto but alot of ways to make profit.

Governments have make people not to know what money is. Before fiat were money. And after fiat, money will still be existing as long as people are existing.

You are not referring to money but fiat that is created by government which is a scam unless you know what it is.

Bitcoin, gold and other valuable assets that their value increase over a long period of time are also money but they are worth holding because they are hedge against the government inflation and they are store of value.

There is no country's economy right now that is not being hit by inflation, difference is that some are better managers of their own situation while others could hardly find a way to contain it and therefore they continue struggling badly that it leads to their currency heavily and rapidly losing value becoming a loss for those who hold or saving the currency in bank.

In the aspect of some country currency losing value, it is common for that to happen to any country that fail to act wisely and continue depending on borrowed economy, what I mean by borrowed economy is a country that solely depends on other country production to survive, a county that has nothing to offer apart from what they get from others.

People don’t really "hold" money, they save it. A lot of us do that without realizing that inflation is slowly eroding its value over time.

I think holding money and saving are both the same. Holding is only different in crypto because they have a limited supply so they grow in value and this is why holding is only another term for investing if we are talking about them. There is really no logical argument to keep your money in cash, it's clear that we should be looking into something else, and because of that ı believe that we are going to see many people put their money into assets, that's how it has always been and will continue to be so. Inflation makes fiat terrible, and even most investments made with fiat are terrible too.

This is why bitcoin should always be number one for most people, of course there are better times to invest and there are worse times, if you buy at the bottom then you will get super rich, and if you buy at the top then you will need to wait another full cycle before you can see it grow, but those are not important, you could do it long term and not care about peaks or bottoms and just keep accumulating more and more.

Yeah especially with the fiat currency and knowing fully well how inflation has really affected it's value holding it will surely be messy and definitely a more reason why investing in cryptocurrency have being one major advantage and the inflation rates ain't going to cut down soon thereby making things increasingly more, so I think it'll definitely affect the Fiat currency and making those holding it go broke or bankrupt soon if it sure continues this way. Money can only be relied on to buy so many things we want so it is only natural that its value does not increase and even tends to decrease because the money supply is very different from the availability of other valuable assets at this time. So it is very appropriate for everyone to hold assets that already have value by releasing money into them, because holding assets that already have value such as in the example of Bitcoin can also bring in more money when the price increases.
