Hello, fellow Bitcoiners,
Encouraged by some friends, I’ve been thinking about starting a DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging) strategy into Bitcoin, but I haven’t been able to get started yet. What would be the easiest platform with low fees to use? Automatic purchases aren’t a necessity since I’m fine with buying manually, but having that option would be a bonus.
Looking forward to your suggestions!

You can try OKX or MEXC. The last time I withdraw on MEXC was 2 weeks ago and the withdrawal fee was £0.8.
Another approach is that you can first withdraw to lightning wallet if the money is significantly low. After like 4 withdraw, you can move the money back to exchange and withdraw it to a noncustodial wallet.
If you withdraw to a noncustodial withdraw like every week, be ready to consolidate your inputs when the transaction fee is low.

You were here in this forum for nearly more than 6 years. Now, you suddenly came after 3 years to post shit like this. Hasn't been able to get started yet. That's his own words. 1 or 6 years? That makes no difference. Nobody counts that. Many people mistake DCA for a method where you send some money to an exchange every week or every month and buy a fraction of bitcoin, but you can always send more money up front and then log in and buy some bitcoin, spending maybe 10% of that money. Whatever platform you choose, going cheap is not a good idea. DCA doesn't mean spending $1 a day on bitcoin. This will never make a difference in your life. On the other hand, if you're planning to buy at least $100 worth of bitcoin every month, you can always save up on fees and withdraw once you get to a larger sum like $500+

most people are already hoarding coin from the previous 2023-24 correction bottom opportunity to DCA... whereby they are now preparing to slowdown their DCA now the prices are moving into ATH territory with the ultimate ATH(all time high) approaching in a few months
there is still opportunity to put some in for a couple months and see a profit when it hits ATH this year.. but then you will be waiting another 3 years through the correction and the halving in next cycle for that to break even. before seeing profit again if you DCA too high.. so many are just going to DCA a month or so, take a break at ATH and then DCA in the correction when prices come down from the ATH

DCA can be used without any big question about market phase, time, and price. That's how you classically apply DCA method for your investment. If you want to find market phase, market bottom price, perfect time for your entries, it's not traditional DCA method use and you are trying to do something different than DCA. Dollar Cost Averaging with costavg.com include exchange fee.

I second this because if your only basis of a good exchange is its low fees, it might not be the safest or most secure platform to buy and hold bitcoins in.

Agreed. There should be no judgbement towards a person that craves knowledges and advice, as it's natural for us to do so, even if we didn't do so in a long time.

The cheapest fees you will find on CEX platforms, but without knowing your country, the method of purchase, and the amount of DCA, you will not get an accurate answer (fees play a major role in profits.) Note that the DCA strategy is a long-term strategy, but its results are good in a bear market and waiting for more than 3 years. However, if your strategy is for a year from now, you may incur losses.

He can check different fees on many centralized exchanges with https://www.cryptowisser.com/exchanges/Note that the DCA strategy is a long-term strategy, but its results are good in a bear market and waiting for more than 3 years. DCA is surely a strategy for long term, not short term. The DCA website https://costavg.com/ with exchange fee % from Coinbase, Kraken and Binance can be a good reference, but he can set a customized % in fee too.

Since you are buying Bitcoin with fiat, your question depends on the country where you reside. Here are some exchanges: https://bitcoin-only.com/get-bitcoin

I second this because if your only basis of a good exchange is its low fees, it might not be the safest or most secure platform to buy and hold bitcoins in. See, I’ve been a dedicated $ETH holder for quite a while now, and honestly, if you compare its performance with BTC, holding ETH hasn’t been the best decision. As for Bitcoin, everyone gets it at the price they deserve—maybe $100k is what I’ve earned! Encouraged by some friends, I’ve been thinking about starting a DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging) strategy into Bitcoin, but I haven’t been able to get started yet. Note that the DCA strategy is a long-term strategy, but its results are good in a bear market and waiting for more than 3 years. However, if your strategy is for a year from now, you may incur losses. I remember you from when I was active here! Well, CEXes charge around 0.1%-0.2% as taker fees, and transferring accumulated BTC costs about $9-$10 on major platforms. I’ll definitely be DCAing for over a year, which is why I’ve been looking for reliable options. While CEXes seem like a favorable choice, the issue is that I can’t withdraw small accumulations to a hardware wallet as I will end up with non-spendable UTXOs. The main reason for starting this thread was to gather insights from fellow Bitcoiners and explore dependable alternatives. Hello, fellow Bitcoiners,
Encouraged by some friends, I’ve been thinking about starting a DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging) strategy into Bitcoin, but I haven’t been able to get started yet. Looking forward to your suggestions!

Exactly! Business is good, but it keeps me completely tied up, leaving little time for forums and social media. Yup, consistency is key, and I’m committed to sticking with it. As long as security is concerned, I’ve been using Ledger since 2017, and it remains my go-to choice for storing accumulated sats. Let’s see how far this journey takes me.

It may not for some. But look at those that have accumulated it when it's too early. Under $1k when they've bought it and held until it has reached $3k. We've got stories that have made a lot of decent profits in there. And I've seen someone who bought on its early days during the ICO and invested some thousands and got it into millions by holding it. So, it's not different story with ETH. I hold a few and I'm happy holding it and got some profits on it and even til' now, hodling it strongly.

@OP, your pattern of DCA will be determined by you, how do I mean? Well, it depends on the availability of funds you want to invest into bitcoin, if you already have a huge sum of money that you want to invest, you can start by investing just a small percent of it every week but if the money is not available, perhaps you are earning salary on monthly basis and you intend to invest just some percent of it into bitcoin, that means you will be investing monthly.
So, it depends on what you want and your income flow.

Hello, fellow Bitcoiners,
We are not your fellow bitcoiners until you make an investment in bitcoin. Encouraged by some friends, I’ve been thinking about starting a DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging) strategy into Bitcoin, but I haven’t been able to get started yet.
If you have been encouraged already by friends to invest in bitcoin, those are friends that love you and are concerned for your progress but your inaction is still hindering that progress. You should have already invested in bitcoin from yesterday because delay is costing you a lot.

I'm impressed brother, well that's really concerning that a person who registered here 6 years ago which means he had exposure to the market 6 years ago it's hard to believe that he don't know about any trusted platform to use for the DCA. I'm not sure it was his decision or his friend's to register here.

Use local exchanges or exchanges registered in your region to avoid undesirable things. If in your area you can operate Binance Exchange, use binance. If I use a local exchange or a platform that functions the same that is registered to buy and send to a private wallet with a normal fee in accordance with the provisions.

The DCA method is one of the investment methods that can facilitate investors who do not have the ability to buy in large quantities and by buying Bitcoin periodically according to their purchasing ability every week or month consistently, the Bitcoin owned will be collected which will make the Bitcoin owned will increase or become large in the long term. So, you have to prepare or see the income you get to be able to buy Bitcoin when you have more money, and besides that you also have to have an emergency fund that you have to prepare in addition to buying Bitcoin periodically and the goal is when you are in need of money suddenly you do not use Bitcoin because we will not know what will happen later and when you really need money and only rely on Bitcoin and the price of Bitcoin is falling you have no other choice but to continue selling it so that your urgent needs can be met, and you have to think about this so that everything can run smoothly. And you OP can also try opening the site provided by @arwin100, because the site is very useful and can also help whatever your goals are and can also add or seek DCA knowledge and try to find good comments and suggestions from @JayJuanGee because in my opinion he is the best teacher in terms of DCA, the most important thing is that you don't be lazy to read.
