Honestly am i the only one who haven’t heard of “dual-token system”? A friend told me about a token that just got listed on Binance and Bitget yesterday but what grabbed my attention was when he said it did almost 500% yesterday….i thought he was kidding. I immediately went over to twitter and i realized a lot of people were saying the same thing about it. I even had to check its official page to know the full details.

Apparently, VTHO which is the token in question was generated by holding VeChain Token (VET) which is the primary token of VeChainThor blockchain. From what i gathered VET token was listed back in 2020 and VTHO/VET make use of the dual token system because the former token was a result of the latter. Honestly, i was so confused when i saw “dual-token system”. Am i the one who doesn’t know about this system before ? I would like to know.

This is the first time I have heard that also, the dual token mechanism is somewhat strange although possible because if both tokens are utility-driven and the first field to meet some requirements and there is a need for an upgrade that demands a new token creation, merging the old and new tokens depends on compatibility and for sure I think both tokens match according to your statement.

And on the %500 price increase, is a very possible and normal occurrence in the token market many tokens also do that all the time so that is not a new feature for the market that can surprise me at all.

The Daul token mechanism could be the next big thing cause it could produce a lot of progress in the market and token performance if properly dealt with.

It could truly be the next big deal, i see a lot of potential in the concept that very soon lots of projects may start using this approach

I've heard of the token as well when I saw the listing. A dual token system is simply a setup where a cryptocurrency project uses two different types of tokens, each with its own purpose. Something like one token will be used as a utility token while the other will be used for governance or something else. What I must have missed though was the fact that the token did 500% since I wasn't paying much attention to it despite seeing it was getting listed. I did check its chart on Bit get eventually though, I'm not too impressed with the price chart, since the first day's candle closing at 0.007, it has been downhill from there. Will there be a change? That's yet to be seen for now but I guess it's worth looking forward to.

Have You Ever Heard Of The Dual-Token System? According to coinmarketcap In the world of blockchain, a dual-token economy or model means a project with two tokens, one of which is used for utility inside the network and the other one as security to raise funds for https://coinmarketcap.com/academy/glossary/dual-token-economy-model-two-token-economy

But it could be a dual asset created from the centralized exchange Dual Asset is a short-term trading tool that lets you capitalize on price movements in low-volatility markets and earn a higher yield during market fluctuations. You have short deposit periods (1-, 3- and 5-day) and 21 different coin pairs to choose from (BTC, ETH, BIT, and more).
Simply predict in which direction the price of a crypto asset (BTC, ETH, etc.) will move within a preset time frame, and make your deposit! https://www.bybit.com/en/promo/global/dual-asset

But all of this seems not match with youe description
