Don't get phished
If you log in into a website (exchange, wallet or Bitcointalk) make sure that you are not on a phishing site. A phishing site is a very close copy of the original website, but from scammers and if you enter your username and password, the scammers have them and will steal your coins or accounts, because they have now access. So, make sure, you are not on a phishing Website by checking the URL on the top before your login.
This post of mine may be useful for beginners to stay safe from phishing, which I previously posted in another thread.
I am posting it here again for the attention of the users here.
[Note: If this post is against the Bitcoin Forum rules, please let me know and I will delete the post]We often get cheated through various fraudulent links. It is seen that those who are new to the internet are the most cheated. It has also been seen that many people have been cheated through these fraudulent links and lost everything.
Fraudsters share fraudulent links with various tempting offers on our mobile or computer, which if entered by mistake, we can lose access to our important things.
So we have to stay away from these fraudulent links as much as possible.
Now the question is how can we initially identify a fraudulent link?Fraudulent links can be identified through various processes, some of which are mentioned below:
1. The domain of the link given should be read carefully. Many times it is seen that fraudsters have created a fraudulent link exactly like a link to a real website, but there will be spelling errors.
For example:
The real domain of bitcointalk is- bitcointalk.org
But the domain of the fraudulent link will not be like this, but it may be bitcointaik.org /bltcointalk.org/bitcolntalk.org.
So before entering any link, you should read the domain carefully.
Again, there are many search engines on the internet to identify fraudulent links, through which we can identify a fraudulent link. For example-
🔹

Paste the link given in the
“Search” option.

As people become more aware day by day, hackers are getting more advanced day by day.
Yes, there are many network providers who sell their customers' information for a small amount of money. On the other hand, the systems of some network providers are so weak that hackers can easily access the entire system and use the information from there as they wish.
Some measures can be taken to reduce all these unwanted incidents,
For this, you can use a VPN from a reputable company, use the Tor browser instead of using a browser everywhere, and you can also set up DoH on your computer or Android phone.
To set DoH on Android phone:
Phone settings➡️ Network and internet ➡️ Advance ➡️ Enter Private DNS
The option will appear "Private DNS hostname" Copy and paste the quote below here and save it.
1dot1dot1dot1.cloudflare-dns.com
Although these will not give you complete security.
