It is the same thing. Let us take that 1 SATS is $1, that means 1000SATS is $1000. Some exchanges uses it to cancel out many zeros of a coin if the coin has many.

Another example is $0.00000012 for SAT is the same as $0.00012 for 1000SATS.

The 1000 there means you should multiple the coin by 1000. It is still the same coins.

Anyone can make a token and name it to anything they want. You can make token called SATS or 1000SATS or 4SATS, and list in in somewhere. They have similar names because someone has named them as such

You can tell the difference by looking at the contract. If you don't know how, i am afraid that no one would even know how to look it up for you, because from all i know there could be 100 tokens called SATS in different blockchains. So unless you give contract numbers, (or if they are coins, then their explorers and code) i am afraid that no one could help you.

They are usually the same but due to the so many decimal places or zeros, exchanges tend to try reducing the zeros for better trading experience. If the SAT token is 0.00000345, the exchanges typically rename such contracts to 1000SAT or 10000SAT, whose price will now show in the order book as $0.00345 or $0.0345. Much easier to trade the latter prices, isn't it?

There is a note if you'll ever visit coingecko or coinmarketcap about it. Like what it is written with the note on coingecko, it's a different version.

1000SATS is a separate version of the original SATS token denominated in 10^3.

So, Jerome is right that it's about the denomination too of the zeros because they've got a lot of it. But both of them are ordinals.

1000SATS and SATS are the same thing just as it has been explained above. The difference is that 1000x is added to 1000SATS. You can read my second reply about it. On deposit or withdraw on Binance, it indicates 1000SATS as 1000*SATS (Ordinals). BRC20 tokens are fungible tokens from Ordinals.

as far as i know it's just the way of some exchange simplifying meme coin with too much decimal because often time it confuses people and it also takes too much space to describe the price so they just bundle it and call it 1000sats or something, it also happened with other meme coin as well so it's not a new thing.

in a nutshell, it's the same coin but every 1000sats contain 1000 sats as the name implies.
