The dollars will still be present but Bitcoin will gain more adoption and become welcome by more countries. There are many countries that still do not welcome Bitcoin or give it a free pass in the country therefore we can not say Bitcoin has been accepted as a currency just yet. For now there is still some more works to be done. Bitcoin is still yet to succeed as an alternative to the dollars but when it does succeed as an alternative to the dollars, that is when we can stop calling Bitcoin the currency of the future.

For me though, don't overthink about it, just let Bitcoin do it's thing and if you are a looking at it in the long term then good, do DCA, invest and accumulate. But don't like glorified it like a magic bean that you will the world around.

Just consider yourself lucky that you have invested on you are early in the game and as you have said, the financial freedom that it will give to us. So just continue what you are doing, because it's very effected for us and for you. And wait for your investment to grow before selling and be sure to sell when you have a lot of profits and then repeat the process all over again. For me, I do not think that it will be a universal currency, even if like the US goes and make it a strategic bitcoin reserve. There are still some institutions that are going to protect lets' say the US dollar as the world's currency. We should be just happy though that Bitcoin is not being accepted even by superpower country like US and Russia or China.

As for the used, it really depends on us. Maybe for some it's money obviously, but for those whales and has as lot of stakes at Bitcoin right now, it's an asset that will grow overtime and then given the situation of the financial world, it could be one asset that will really help us fight inflation.

We are already aware of what Bitcoin is, specially for those who have been in the market for so long. Maybe some of us has become successful investor already and has earn a lot of money throughout the years and living a good life now. But there could be some who are still in the discovering phase, and they still can't grasp how to invest on it and they just simply looking at the short term.

Bitcoin is currently an alternative to fiat, because it is used for payment for goods and services across boarders. It will continue to be a currency in future wether it has been adopted by all the countries in the world or not. Majority of people are not even bothered about using for payment, but they have turned it to their own store of value because of the increas in value overtime.
