The question now is, do these tokens still have potential or are they deadends? This thought came to mind when I saw an event giving Trump, Melania, Doge, and Elon tokens. i thought about participating but then I wondered if it would be a good idea to keep those tokens after getting them or should I just sell them off while they still have good value?

It really depends if the whales are still backing it up and Trump will mention this meme during the course of his administration. This is one of the risks of investing in a meme that's narrative and personality-based; there is uncertainty about its future.
It could go either way; Trump will go to oblivion after he goes out of office so its potential is only good during its tenure, or it will remain in the market and be one on top of the altcoin because the community will continue to honor Trump's contribution, so this is one interesting meme to follow.

First of all there is no "Elon" coin, even if there was one that was named that way, it is not an official one that he created, unlike trumpcoin which trump himself officially said it's his.

However, the result is the same for all, it is not going to go up, because it doesn't look like it has legs to stand on. It was a memecoin, and it was memed, and it's done now, like all the other ones before that one. To be honest, I understand people who wanted to be part of history, it was the first official coin of any usa president ever, and that is a good thing, if you bought a small amount and didn't lose a lot, then you are holding what is history. Of course if you lost a lot then there isn't really anything to talk about at all.

What makes some of the Trump coin early investors and those who got in when the coin was almost at %1000  not to have sold their Trump coins is because of the belief that the coin can easily get pumped even above its previous all-time high price at any moment, we can't say the coin is over yet, Trump holding 80% of the coin supply is an indication and a pointer to the possible and easy control of the price and market of the coin we shouldn't be so quick to write off this coin but still this is meme coins and their potential is equal their hype but one unique thing about Trump coin is that the coin has the next 4 year to keep it hypes on as long as the personality figure remains in power.

There are no guarantee with such hype coins, I think these tokens high risky because such celebrity tokens kinda pump & dump coins, so no one can prediction what will happen in the future, so I think you should not buy it and keep holding in the long run. Now the whole market is showing downtrend so don’t invest in those coins.

You're spot in ahhaa.. I won't suggest too much attention on it. Trump went from 80 to 20. Now around $26. Melanaia same. Though they're tendencies it'll do way more than that in the future. But I'll advise caution..you can leverage bounties, giveaways like these Trade to share trump, Melania elon as a way to get them, or use DCA. But don't go all in..NFA.

you understand that these tokens are closely related to speculation and news from the figures attached to the memecoin. if you do not understand the high risk of buying tokens like this, then you should stay away from them, and it is better to invest your money in bitcoin. but if you understand that this memecoin is very risky and its price is very volatile, then you can buy it. the decision is yours.

Well, it is always easy to pump the token initially when the president of America is behind it. That was the reason we saw this token reach 70+ in very less time as the hype was there. Now since the investors have taken profits and the price is continuously dumping it is not easy to pump the token at the same pace. Also those who bought high and didn't sell their token, they will be willing to sell when they reach at break-even prices, thus there will be a lot of sell pressure on this token.

However, i agree with you that Trump's token can be exceptional, as one tweet from Trump can push it to all-time high again, despite all the selling pressure about which I mentioned above.

I think they are dead ends, there is no way I’d buy $TRUMP now or at any time in the future. I said before, I am a Trump supporter but I’m very disappointed that the family decided to go down this route. It cheapens them, they did not need to get involved in real shit coins. Also it discredits their push to embrace crypto, they should be talking about Bitcoin only or possibly Ethereum, Solana & other proven coins.

The earlier assertion is more likely to occur than the latter. What I mean is the Trump coin might have gained somw level of stability during his stay in the government but might not stand the test of time when he leaves. But if he's smart enough he can decide to strengthen and familiarize the crypto community through his coins making major multinational transactions using the Trump coin and investing a significant amount of money into the trump coin instead of Bitcoin, that might give the coin a leverage over others but the disadvantage and fear this nature of coins come with is that since it does not work on existing networks like Solana and others, it may not be able to make a long-term impact or value in the crypto market. What I'm afraid of is, the people that will end up investing their fortunes in the coin then when it later dumps, they begin to suffer from such decisions.

The problem with investing in meme is the uncertainty and the dilemma on when to sell or continue to hold it I have one of the worst experience investing in memes.
I am locked to the thought that all the memes I invested have a good potential in the market, so I always choose not to sell for a small profit or cut my losses when they are losing value. I ended up with shit tokens in my wallets.
So its better that you sell it while they have value or regret it later for not selling it early.

The problem with investing into a memecoin is that it has no purpose of existing. All other coins got created for a purpose, memecoins are created to just meme about it, it's just fun, entertainment really, nothing about it screams investment, and yet people do it because they have fun putting money in those things.

Like for trump coin purposes, people assumed they were part of a community, a community of trump lovers, and that's why they did it, and we have seen how much people trust him with their money, not as high as most other coins, and we have seen how many people kept trusting him, after the initial release, not many left, most got out, so nobody trusts trump with their money, which isn't really a shocker considering how his business' keep getting bankrupt.

It is too risky to invest in Trump coin even at prices like under 20$. I think this meme coin price will continue to dump unless trump announces something about it or maybe he tweets about it. If trump won't speak of it, I think the hype of this coins is over and unfortunately it will term as a rug pull by the American President.

I might try to get in this coin if its reaches a single digit that is under 10$. If bitcoin dumps to 90k, i guess this price target is very much possible for the trump coin.

Seriously? Why would it go up? It's still nearly $4 billlion in marketcap, while having majority of the tokens in one address. If you think Trump would somehow bring it back, then ask yourself why would he do that? He admitted that he doesn't even know much about it, so why he would want to waste his time, as he probably got his check from it already?

Frauding his own base is the real beauty of it, because it has billions of market cap still to lose. I can see it going easily under $100m and it probably doesn't die as bots will keep on trading it as a zombie token.

You said the hype left immediately they came and yet you still think their value is big, how do you measure the value of a coin because this is moot how it's measure. You can launch a coin today and gave it a higher value but you think the price will stay and wouldn't crash. Studies has shown that giving high values of price to coins don't make it successful, they dies most often and Trump coin or Melania aren't different and funny part the coins are meme coins.

Meme coins are gotten as a result of hype, false pretense, lie to the community.
