Football has long been a game played by amateurs, fans of this sport. But now football is a sport where every football player dreams of earning good money first. I would compare it to military service, where every soldier dreams of becoming a general. But what's wrong with that? Talented football players, those who sign expensive contracts, are obliged to show all their skills. If there are none, then there will be no millions for which countries buy them. And anyone who starts playing football, starting from a child, always carries the idea of ​​leadership. I would say that this quality should be present in any athlete. If there is no talent, then they will always sit on the reserve bench.

You right but I still believes that there're players with active passion,so many players are still driven by passion for football.Theres a strong driving force for passion than the need for financial gain.
Passion and Money stands as a vital components of football but nowadays,and for some reasons best known to football fans whom have laid in complains,they believe that players are more focused on money than loyalty to their clubs and the sports entirely.

They can't continue playing for their passion while unable to provide for themselves same instance goes back to our musicians and the reason why most people go to the university level, sometimes they don't study courses based on passion but rather on what they can be able to graduate with good grade and fit in the country's economic choices. I won't be in support of playing only for the passion since it's the same football being played against teams who are also contesting for title.

While making money, you also need to add passion because you are being paid and need to work diligently under pressure to give the same balance to the club, players with passion are not supposed to contribute less only because they are not managed by the club at which they have passion for, if they don't sign a player to the club there is no means of earning through the sports, must be a dedicated player even to the smallest club before bigger clubs can decide on whether to sign such a player.

I also can strongly say that passion for football ends in Ronaldo and Messi ERA.

So many headlines has been flying around, about players either wanting to change clubs because they want to secure a huge paycheck. While others still in their current club demanding a pay rise to a new contract.

The Saudi Arabia side has now made it more obvious by opening the door to players who are more interested in money than passion to come in.

You have a point, contemporary football is quite different from old times but I must say that there are still players that are focused on building their legacy like messi and Ronaldo but not on the same pace. In the history of football no one has beaten their record maybe due the reason is due to what you mentioned, a lack of passion and more interest in money. But do you think this is the case? Like you said, which also was my initial opinion, there are definitely player that are playing with great passion to write their own legendary and make a name like the other old players. First, I believe that passion is what drives most of the player to start playing but money is another thing that could corrupt some of them which I believe all of those players can never be corrupted or have the same life style.

Before now people can barely live without having much interest for money, all they care about is having so much zeal in whatever profession they found doing but it is not like this any more. The world right now is so expensive that people consider profession that has so much whereby money can be generated and they now have to force passion in a profession because of what it can offer to them.  Life now is different from how it used to be some years ago that is why things looks different now.

Some young players in Europe can still rebuild the image of football that is not only concerned with money, indeed they have been paid large amount but if we talk about salary then Ronaldo or Messi are also expensive players, for example Real Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Manchester City are still team that have quite lot of young players who are starting to show their names as football stars.

Just look at the guys from UFC and veteran boxers who still wants to make money in sports, they pick Jake Logan because theres more money to it and its not even a real boxing.

Actually this happens in almost every sport, whether it’s football, basketball, or boxing. That’s just how things are now.

They’ll never outright say it’s all about the money, but as we've both seen, their choices usually come down to whoever offers the biggest paycheck. Take boxing, for example - if a promoter has a lot riding on a fighter, they’ll make sure he avoids matchups where the odds aren’t in his favor.. Even if the fighter believes he can win the promoter knows better because they’re protecting their investment. They’ll carefully pick his opponents to ensure he keeps winning and his value keeps rising.

That’s why so many fans these days are frustrated. They want to see the best fights, but they don’t get them because the matchups don’t fit the promoters’ agenda.

It happens, but perhaps this is more significant. We all know that those born in the 1980s tend to be slower and more gentle than today’s Gen Z and Alpha generations. It’s clear that these footballers all want the same thing: higher payments through club transfers. I believe this is the case.

People today tend to rush things; they want instant results and often lack patience.

I have said it before that since gambling started in 1998 surprise results started to happen soon after especially Serie A the Italian best football league which before gambling had always results as expected.
