Hi, everyone! I'm Vadym from Info-Polus, a leading consulting and development company specializing in Web3 technologies and blockchain solutions. You can read more about us here: https://www.info-polus.com/

Recently, I found this discussion (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5527491.0) very interesting, with so many useful tips and advices, but still, I think we need to start another discussion about finding a job in the blockchain space.

I've already asked topic-related questions here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5520744.0) about how to find a blockchain developer and here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5523444.0) about how blockchain devs should be paid. The answers are solid, as the Bitcointalk community has experience in hiring, programming, and development. I think we need to combine that kind of knowledge here. As there are many opportunities ahead, the competition is also rising.

So, my first question is: Is it difficult to find a solid position as a blockchain developer right now? What challenges are you facing?

Thank you and good luck, everyone!

There's no shortage of businesses, companies and projects that are looking for Blockchain developers. Your main goal would be to establish brand credibility and to prove that you can complete jobs, as there's also no shortage of fakers who claim they can build blockchain-based tech/web3 dapps and waste time, so businesses and people are naturally cautious. Based on your website, I don't think that's an issue. My only suggestion would be to separate Web2 work from Web3 work, create two different portfolios. This way someone who is looking for blockchain/web3 work can easily see and prove that your firm can do the work. Otherwise, you look primed for growth, your job looks more so about marketing than anything at the moment! The money and clientele is out there, you just need to go get it!

I swear I've posted in your previous thread before. Is there a reason why you keep making a new one instead of responding to questions that I[1] or other people asked? Making a new thread every now and then when you're not participating in any discussion sounds bad unless your goal is just to promote your website. If you're trying to research the market through this forum, why not make a general thread and ask your question over there? It shouldn't be that difficult to keep it updated.

Yep, I understand that. Trying to be more active after the winter holidays.

I was thinking about making a thread, but still, I'm not sure where to locate it properly. My first one, though, was moved to the service discussion.

Yeah, I agree about there's no shortage of businesses. But the way what skills we expect from Junior, Middle and Senior have changed, I think. I mean, that the label doesn't always depict reality.

It will also be interesting to look for AI influence.

As a blockchain developer, have you tried all the available options for freelancing online? Have you succeeded in creating an attractive account on LinkedIn and Upwork? If you are aware of the prospects that freelancing platforms can provide you, your entire team can benefit together from job offers. The problem with blockchain developers is that they have to prove their integrity as well as experiences, because no one will hire a developer in this field without being confident of his integrity or hiring him for just simple tasks. Bitcointalk Forum can help you spread the net with your skills and advertise your service since it has sections dedicated to development and projects. I advise you to start working on creating an official announcement with your full portfolio, and to interact with users' opinions and comments.

Thank you for your suggestion. We will work on our portfolios and advertisements.

Yes, we've tried. I'd say even more; we've tried to look on Reddit + local European dev websites. As you've mentioned, with what I 100% agree, the issue is how to prove their integrity. It becomes clear after first sreening when Senior is the Middle in fact.

Could you please recommend me the sections dedicated to development and projects? I would highly appreciate this one.

If you're planning to include Bitcoin in your projects, then Project Development is the right place to discuss it. Based on your previous threads though, I do believe this section is probably the right place since you seem to use it as a promotion material for your website too. Anyway, you can just manage your threads as usual and if a mod feels like your thread is out of place they'll just move it to the right section. The focus should be how to make your thread feels engaging for people to discuss the topic you presented imo.

Your advice is very good because in Blockchain industry and cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin is a biggest one for development, jobs, market cap and more. It really makes sense to include Bitcoin into the project.

He can learn from other cryptocurrency, blockchain job websites, and improve his website.

Thank you for your suggestion. Don't want to be misunderstood, so I'm happy to receive an answer from a Legendary member here.

Wow, thanks for this one. I'm wondering, if it's still possible to update the information provided there. But 100% will try to communicate there as well.

OP doesn't seem to update the thread regularly. Their last seen was a month ago so I guess he's still active. You can probably bump the thread and post your offer details if it's new and useful info (not marketing only) so it doesn't feel like a necrobump. You can probably create a new thread with similar purpose if you want to take over from the OP and update it regularly, after contacting them of course.

-snip-
So will you stick with updating one of your threads or do you plan to bump and post on your other threads? I think you should stick to one of them and lock the other. Not saying you can't create a new thread though. I think you're free to do that if the topic is distinct enough. If it's related to your project and marketing activities, probably better to stick with an ANN thread.

Nice question. For now, I think I will stick to updating the current threads. Especially since I've already started another one, so I have 2 of them.

I'm not planning to create the new threads in the near future. Every day I'm checking these ones first. But, as you mentioned, the topic is new-new, I think it will be better to create a new one.
