I am still hoping for another dip but it can be said that it really comes down to their speculation, the popular or familiar cannot be the benchmark in our investments. we have to be objective in our research based on the coin we choose also means as much as possible in this still weak market condition, we have to make entry points with minimal risk and maximum profit, so make sure to accept any kind of loss. If the first thing I said above happens again at any time.

The dip comes in bear season, I ensured to bagged enough coins to my portfolio, knowing the routes to follow because when the bull comes, we put on smiling faces. We accept losses and profits because it's our own very doing. We become more focused when we open trade because none of us would be happy to trigger loss, we tend to be very careful and be more straight in our trades. We trigger good positions in the market because there are more promising positions, all we have to do is simply developed a patient mind and then execute trades, more like been in the standard form. We have minimal risk and also higher maximal risk merely anticipating to trade.

Of course, Bitcoin should be held and not sold. Those who have enough capacity to hold it and do not have any financial problems in the family, such as not having to take loans and not having to pay loans, should definitely hold Bitcoin. It should not be held for just a few days, it should be held for a long time until it reaches a new height and the predictions that everyone is predicting are fulfilled. As many are predicting that Bitcoin will soon be one million dollars, we should aim to hold it until it reaches one million. If Bitcoin can be held with a target like this, then Bitcoin investment will definitely be successful. I have a small amount of Bitcoin investment, but I do not have any altcoin investment.

I'm not really sure if this is a good idea though, even if you believed in the future of the coin, it if is poorly marketed or if the people behind the project has different views like doing a rug pull or if the project is simply for a pump and dump scheme, it might not be enough though. Unless it's a prime mover coin like Ethereum or any other great altcoins that has gain the support and consensus of the market. Or for this cycle, even if you are holding Ethereum, it's very different cycle though, as Bitcoin has it's all time high, majority of the best altcoin is way below and we don't know if they are going to reach a new all time high or not as it has decoupled from Bitcoin itself.

I hold as long as I see potential in the coins I buy, but I never hesitate to sell them if I see nothing.  In the end, whether buying or selling, the decision is our personal discretion. Of course, some market analysis could help us decide what we like to take.

But as we are talking about altcoins, we should be careful in choosing them. I won't say they are a scam, but long-term holding is not a good idea because many cases happen where some coins are valuable today, but after a few months they'll turn to $0.

Yep, in addition to fraudsters from the developer side, there are more ones that are not meeting market needs, cannot compete and make the coins feasible, more fraud in meme coins, but in other projects is a project failure that cannot develop or abandoned its users, so that the demand for coins or tokens is no longer in the same interest which will only reach the highest limit and never return to the peak of the price.

The peseate is the development of technology and the fierce competition in the market so that the market conditions easily change and that makes holding Altcoin in the long run is a decision that cannot be taken carelessly.

There are so many useless shitcoins that investors need to sell out or regret why they ever invested in yhe projects.
The only project I will advise anyone to hold is Bitcoin because that's future of cryptocurrency and we should not joke with it. There are thousands of altcoins in the market, while many have lost value because of investors jumping from one project to another so they could make money from the market. There are many that are not in existence because the team ran away with the funds allowing holders to lost money. So many crazy things are happening in the market and more are still going to happen as time goes on.

Many people have panic sold since the entire crypto markets dumped since Trump’s inauguration. I am not selling though, I believe this is a normal bull market correction as seen before in previous cycles. Prices will begin to recover & the second half of 2025 will bring life changing monies.

I agree with you. You know, I saw a thread of someon regretting not selling a coin when it was at bull run, and now it has dipped. That's the thing with the market,  you have to follow your instinct or your gut feeling, especially when it comes to altcoins.

Since the market is not consistent, or it's not a solid coin like Bitcoin, where you can't really make long-term predictions, once the market is in a bull run, if you see an opportunity that gives you 2x or 3x your capital, that's profit I would likely say you should sell. But if it's something like Bitcoin, and you know it has long-term potential and a solid market, now you could sell some and leave some.

But for altcoins, when you're not sure, you can sell a reasonable amount and still leave some too, then watch the market. Just so that when it dips, you will not feel any form of regret. But still, it's totally up to a person to sell or not during a bull run.

How to avoid this question in the first place is by having a target for your investment during the first stage when you are about to put your money in that coin or token. Don't invest without a target so that you don't get a biased decision along the line. When you want to make an investment into Bitcoin or any other altcoin, have a target of price which you are going to sell and if price reach your target, sell off and wait for the bear market before you buy back or you can just be DCAing while waiting too. If you don't have target, you probably could miss the trend and miss out from where you should have sold and take profit.

Not having a certain approach right now is questionable because we all can see that the bull run is coming. Plus, why would you want to sell when we are so far away from the all time high price, at the very least we are going to break over that when the bull run comes. I get that some people doubt this, but if you have been long enough to see any bull run, then you know that every four year this happens, almost exactly the same way.

So this shouldn't really be shocking to anyone, we have peaked and now we are going to peak again, just like how we peaked in 2021 and how we peaked in 2017, and so forth. If you could hold a bit more then you are going to end up with a lot more money and could get a lot better return.

I have read the thread you referred me to and it is a sad one for Nigerian super eagles. I was hoping that things could go right for Nigerians, but when I read that they do not only need to win all their matches, they will also depend and pray that South Africa losses in order to qualify. This is not a good news. It is safer to rule that Super Eagles are out this time. No world cup for two consecutive times.

  The idea of either holding or selling your coins is always done with speculations and fear of the unknown in most cases(not all) however I feel this decision is not supposed to be based on arbitrary and random speculations, it should be done with proper analysis considering the economic and technical implications in the coin, whybwas the coin created  by who if possible, what else can the coin be used for etc   btc for example is gaining more and more global traction on a daily basis for so many reasons.  with this kind of economic information dded with the technical formation of the coin, decisions about holding or selling is almost 50% solved

holding bitcoin as long as you can is very good and highly recommended but if it is altcoin it is very risky. 60% of altcoins mostly end up with a drastic decrease in value, and many even end up having no value at all, so if you really want to hold altcoins, it's better to hold altcoins that already have good fundamentals such as ethereum or binance coin (personal suggestion). For memecoin, it is not recommended that you hold it for long because memcoin is only a speculative asset whose value is created solely by hype and has no definite use that would make its value last longer.
