I have tried numerous ways of bridging FTM tokens on the ETH Network to the FTM Network, but can't find an option that works.

When I attempt to use the Bridge function in Metamask, it does not show my FTM Network as an option to transfer to.

I have tried several different exchanges, but none appear to offer the means to move my FTM on ETH Network to the FTM Network.

Is it not possible to do this?

But are you aware that FTM migrated to sonic?

So it's possible that most exchange now no longer support FTM but do support sonic. So you might want to try bridging directly from FTM ETH to Sonic
This is the tool apparently - https://my.soniclabs.com/bridge (I haven't used it, so I am not sure about the procedure)

This might be worth reading - https://docs.soniclabs.com/sonic/s-token

Thanks for your reply.

I was aware that FTM is now Sonic, but as the ticker is still showing FTM, I assumed I could still transfer them in the original name.

Thanks for the links, I will read up and try the Sonic Labs tools.

I think you need to convert your FTM to S first and then you can easily interact with FTM new network which is SONIC, now that exchange also delisting FTM and listing S after the migration, it will be beneficial for you as well.

I was aware that FTM is now Sonic, but as the ticker is still showing FTM, I assumed I could still transfer them in the original name.
different token, so it can't be transferred as if it's S, need to migrate first since they are going major rebrand. but nothing to worry since it can be converted 1:1.

You can use the official Sonic Gateway to upgrade your FTM tokens on Ethereum to S tokens on Sonic.
https://gateway.soniclabs.com/ethereum/sonic/ftm-s

It is still possible to bridge them over to the Fantom Opera network through Squidrouter if that is what you want.

**Below is now resolved - after refreshing the page, the option to claim was available, and all tokens transferred to my Sonic wallet**

Thanks for the replies.

I used the official Sonic Gateway to convert a small number of FTM to Sonic and this worked fine.

However, I then tried to send a much larger amount, but this required an increased amount of ETH for the fee and I did not have this, so I added more ETH and tried again, but I now have 3 entries for the same transaction showing "Depositing" but it has been like this for nearly an hour and nothing is happening.

When I check the deposit ID for each transaction, they all say Status - Fail.

The FTM have left my Ethereum wallet.

I'm concerned that if click on "Cancel" I may lose the FTM.

Also, when I click on Confirm, a message states that the transaction fee cannot be estimated and the transaction may fail, which it obviously has.

Any thoughts on what I should do?

The Eth gas fee is ranging from approx $100 to nearly $500. This is crazy.
