Dopamine has not made anyone rich because it is only a chemical substance in the brain. It cannot affect the financial situation. You need to work on it with your own efforts, and you can feel nothing at all, but if you do productive and precise actions, then luck will not keep you waiting. And money will appear.
You need to be like a calculator, calculate your steps and actions. And you don't necessarily have to be inspired or motivated. "Do what you have to" is the motto of the stubborn and successful.

If doing anything no matter what with bad mood and low dopamine levels in your brain it ain't going to be successful.
That's why even the rich people need to boost their dopamine levels with good activities travel good food nice cars nice people around them.

I definitely agree with this point of view, that your happiness is not necessarily a consequence of your environment but something you can actively shape yourself. Some people are trapped in circumstances, or at least feel that way, like someone supporting an elderly relative through their end of life - which can be very challenging and restrictive. However there are other people who sometimes waste a lot of their free time or do not utilize it, yet complain they don't have enough money to do things. There are often many opportunities around us or possible with a little bit of experimenting, yet some would rather play video games or sit in front of a TV like a potato. The most successful and happy people who I've ever met are definitely proactive instead of neutral or reactive.

As you may know, dopamine has different functions in the human body but the role it plays in terms of motivation  is that it influences our desires toward chasing after those things we dearly desired. But..., there's always a but, what do you desire? Do you want to become wealthy? If you want to become wealthy and you are working towards becoming wealthy, it's your dopamine that motivated you to do things that will make you achieve that goal which gives you the pleasure you wanted.

So, dopamine only plays the roles of motivation, to pull you into action but dopamine doesn't give you the advice on what to do or what not to do, that's why you see people being addicted to different things that is destroying their life, because their dopamine give them motivation to do that which give them pleasure.  Dopamine is not the reason for wealth, though it contributes to motivate you but if you are motivated and yet doing the wrong thing or doing the right thing in the wrong way, you will not still be wealthy.

Dopamine is a double-edged sword. Although bad mood and low dopamine is not good for your success, we run the risk of others controlling our levels and, therefore, our behaviour. I'm not talking about drug dealers and dopamine peaks thanks to substances anymore: take for example a social network capable of increasing your dopamine levels in crucial moments, but not necessarily when it's better for you.

Balance is the key. Too high or too low dopaminergic levels are equally bad. Since it's a neurotransmitter related to motivation and pleasure, it's essential for our wellbeing and ability to pursue new objectives.

I think it's ironical, though, that the more knowledge people acquire regards those biochemical processes, the less they are able to enjoy its benefits and to reach balance in a natural way. Nowadays everyone talks about dopamine, melatonin, serotonin, and so on, but are suffering from depression and other mental disorders, having to rely on medicines to maintain themselves at least functional in some proportion.

Decades ago those disorders were also present, but in minor scale than we have nowadays. And back then people in general didn't care about labelling hormones, neurotransmitters. They just lived one day at a time, enjoying the present moment.

Dopamine would be short term more speculative type gambling choices, it takes alot more then a reaction and good luck to accumulate wealth and not lose it.
  I think a person can define themselves more then just by their levels of dopamine but behind the scenes that would be presuming the good health of the person trying.  If lacking for some reason in any of those regular chemical effects it could sabotage the whole good judgement narrative I presume true of investment and wealth.

I would also argue too much emphasis is placed on the ego when its the product itself, efficiency and good practice that creates wealth not so much the shiny personality of some outperforming individual exactly though in short term that is the creative force.  Its a harder story to sell that the guts of a business are more important then some charismatic story but I think the importance is in that order in the long term.

Do you all even understand what dopamine is, what its functions are in the human body, and perhaps even where it acts in the brain?  I see idiotic Youtubers throwing this word around as if they've graduated with a Ph.D. in neuroscience.

No.  You don't.  99% of you I can guarantee couldn't give me three facts about dopamine off the top of their heads without stopping by Google U first.  Just say "reward system" or some other thing, but I'm telling you when you use a very technical, scientific term so flippantly it loses its meaning and you look goddamn ignorant to those in the know.

Ideal dopamine levels can increase productivity and lead you to wealth and success. I agree with the fact that besides desire and ability, your mood can determine how productive you are that day. But ideal dopamine levels must be obtained in a healthy way. One cannot increase dopamine significantly without exercising good control. Low dopamine can cause depression. However, high dopamine levels can make you lose motivation in the future. For example, if giving yourself a reward by eating at a fancy restaurant is your dopamine every time you finish work, then one day you will no longer get dopamine from eating at a fancy restaurant. Therefore, it is important to keep dopamine within reasonable limits. Not high but not low either.

I'm sure this wouldn't work if people acknowledge things they can and cannot control. Dopamine should be allowed to flow naturally not hustled. Working hard 20 hours a day looking to get wealthy for a feel good syndrome eliminates the main purpose of existence. And that purpose may not be attained.  A lot of people are not aware of it, and that's why many of them are in search of validation instead of building real value, they assume that making huge money is the only means to be loved.

Actually, regarding Dopamine, it can indeed be regulated according to how we manage our own lifestyle. If we have a good and healthy lifestyle, dopamine levels in our brain will always be maintained in balance. Simple routine and regular activities that are good for the body will basically increase Dopamine too. Examples like

- Regular exercise such as jogging every morning before other activities such as work can also bring a good atmosphere to our work at work. We will be able to enjoy our work more that day.

- Regular and quality sleep also plays an important role in this matter. because after all, lack of sleep can bring someone to an unimaginable level of fatigue. becoming easily stressed and so on and actually this is caused by a decrease in dopamine due to lack of sleep.

- Good at entertaining and building a good atmosphere for ourselves such as listening to music, watching movies or doing our hobbies. It also boosts our dopamine.

So basically it's a matter of lifestyle. It's not about rich or poor. However, sometimes rich people have had a healthy lifestyle even before they achieved success and wealth. And prospective rich people are usually accustomed to living a healthy and disciplined life since childhood, even though they were financially limited in their lives at first.

A healthy mindset and lifestyle remain the key in this matter. Meanwhile, Dopamine is only a result of this positive mindset and lifestyle. So if you want to be successful then start with a healthy lifestyle and a positive mindset.

Dopamine is a double-edged sword. Although bad mood and low dopamine is not good for your success, we run the risk of others controlling our levels and, therefore, our behaviour. We all are doing things for the pleasure and we are giving pleasure to mind ajd in response we are getting dopamine. Dopamine is best chemical to run our life and it develops habits of our life . many people are facing this challenge and they are doing many bad thing which are not good for health. And they are doing again and again and they promised they will not do again but they could not do anything. There are thousands of people who want to avoid these habits but they can't do anything in that point. Many people want wealth in life and they want to enjoy rich life because that increase their dopamine and they have dream and they will make plans and then they will be rich person of our society.

Dopamine influences more than one believes. It is not the matter of feeling happy, but what energizes you to go on, to make another attempt, to enjoy the journey. It makes a great difference in what you can do whether you are creating a business or simply just surviving each day. When you can see a person is filled with life and passion that will be internalized in the energy that he/she will have and people will be attracted to that and yes it happens to people where there is no stimulation or reward in an unhealthy situation, so they will look to quick fix to make them feel good which leads to bad habits. This is the reason systems need to be made that enhance natural motivation in work places as well as in the society. Even a minor thing such as good team bonding, appreciation or fun working environment can do wonders.
