I can offer approximately 500,000,000 Chamby tokens as a reward to the participant who wins the tournament. I can also organize consolation prizes for the rest of the participants. Chamby is a token on the TON cryptocurrency blockchain. It is a decentralized token made by participants of the Russian Bitcointalk locale.

So the sponsored or that giveaway will be added in the pool and only allocate for 1st winner? Maybe better to segregate it to 1st to 3rd place like 15 10 5 something like this. If we focus heavily on 1st place, at least we give to other placers too. Or what if subsidize for the buy in for participants to make it lower since its token of appreciation.

No, not at all. As per their sponsorship proposal, there will be a consolation prize for each participant. I have already suggested returning the buy-in amount in terms of consolation prizes and waiting for their response (hopefully positive ).

Reducing buy-in further will only result in less interest among serious players. This is a BitcoinTalk special event anyway, so I am focused more on the quality of participants rather than quantity. My vision is to create a community of poker players who can play regularly in the best possible environment with no rake.

Would this be just one day tournament, or several days? Anyway, i would be interested to join this time.
During last game, private life obligations came first, and i had to be in alert and ready to go for several days. So i couldn't commit to any specific time, without fear of failing that.

A. The thing is that the token price can fluctuate and it is very difficult to make it equal to 30 dollars. It is easier to count in Chamby tokens. Moreover, it is a nice figure.
B. Consolation prizes will be small and they will have value only after some time, when the token price grows. This amount is comparable to the cost of the commission.
C. I did not understand your proposal about the buy-in. It would be easier for us if you obliged everyone to create a TON address before the tournament and publish the results after the tournament. We would send 500 million to the winner, and introductory amounts to the rest. However, we can send 500,000,000 to your address, and you distribute it yourself. We can send out introductory amounts ourselves. The main thing is that everyone must generate a public TON address.

This is a good deal for you as you are getting almost a $70 discount. Previous sponsors paid us $200 for branding.

2.) For $130, you will get not only a dedicated thread mentioning you as our official partner, where you can advertise and explain about your token, but you will also get a dedicated YouTube video where your branding will be displayed. You can check out more at https://www.youtube.com/@bitcointalkpoker. Additionally, players will share screenshots discussing their play, which will boost your token's popularity further. Check this for example.
Please provide me with your logo and banner so that I can create the table design and topic. If you are interested, let me know before February 14th. If we get another sponsor before you that suits us better, we may decline your offer.

I have been wondering for quite a while regarding your interest towards this event, but now I can see that your reasons make sense. I remember that you were playing at 1win tournament quite late at night which is not a pleasant experience at all.

While I am cool with it, I think not too many people here like the more complex version that much, which either means we play with a smaller group or we stick with standard Omaha. We can try to set up for other versions, but the mainstream version probably attracts more players.

And even there I said it makes more sense to play the normal version since Hilo is more tricky and requires at least a bit of experience. But yeah, for our forum game, if we ever played Omaha, of course I wouldn’t say hilo. But still, 5 and 6 card Omaha are more fun than the regular 4 card, and the rules are totally the same. Just more action.

I do not think we gonna get more than 11-12 anyway (It gives me a strange kick to tell the truth ). I am not able to stream 2 tables while playing so why not stick to max capacity so that eveyone's play can be streamed.

I suppose something around 2 PM UTC should be fine for almost anyone unless you come from the California area, which would be 6 AM in the morning. I get the point that things are different on Saturdays of course. It was you who said you are doing sports very early in the morning every day or so?

By the way are you still using platforms like Pokerstars or GGPoker? I haven‘t in a while, but once played there like a junky. Was a fun time I will never forget there was one Russian guy who won back to back the Sunday Million I think. Think about the run you need to bring home that tournament back to back. Maybe it was Sunday Million and another huge one, but it was two consecutive Sundays. Insane with those high numbers of participants

Right now it's too cold to play basketball in the morning but as soon as it gets at least a bit warmer I will be on the court at 6am, haha.

Pokerstars closed my account while I was in Taiwan so fuk them. They made it extra hard to reopen it when I was back in Japan, it was just ridiculous. So I left cause they suck anyway. I have an account with GG, collecting the "daily freebie" and occasionally run it up a bit. It's nice that you can deposit and withdraw crypto there (gets converted though). Recently played an Omaha tournament and after a lot of folding I got a 5 ways (4bb raise pre) big hand with 66AK double suited. Flop 236, 1 guy goes allin, everybody folds and I call. He had 45K10 rainbow and I didn't improve. Classic!

IMO no platform can match the fairplay standards of Pokerstars. Part of the reason for their overall decline is that they care for rules and regulations.

Yeah but guess what, I stopped playing on Pokerstars because AHOYBRAUSE is right. They KYC‘ed me twice in one month (same device, same IP, registered for almost 20 years or so), and then they took it to the next level, I wanted to withdraw like 200€ and they wanted to KYC me for a third time a week later (same ID card, nothing changed, not even the email). I said keep your fucking 200€,  game over for me. I won‘t return. That has nothing to do with regulations anymore and in regards to fair play, I am sure we all here share the bot feeling sometimes on all those platforms bots or some rigged things going on.
