But what if there was an incentive for someone to get to the top transaction of the block, a token built with BTC? It would make each BTC block an auction for a pretty scarce asset

pools could change their incentive schemes without changing bitcoin

EG a blocks total reward + all but top fee amount, get split to the miners that participate, then the singular miner that provided that blocks solution gets the reward split for shares participated and the top fee as bonus

it doesnt require a change of bitcoin code but instead needs a suggestion sent to the popular pools management

This will lead to overpaid fees and will be useless, continuing to pay such fees for a long time will lead to the failure of Bitcoin.
Some mining pools have returned people who sent hundreds of bitcoins^[1] by mistake.

You can not get any benefit as a Bitcoin users.

Only people who planned for congestions in mempools can get benefit from it, but chance to fail is high too.

I encourage everyone to look at the claiming distribution of Haircomb. Haircomb is a token native to the BTC chain that is distributed by attaining the highest transaction fee of the BTC block. The coin is hyper scarce, so it can be assumed Bitcoin miners will eventually compete with each other to get the highest tx fee

you got no clue how the fee's are collated into a blockreward nor distributed there after.. but nice try promoting something that sounds like a scam
