It's better to not operate your crypto wallet on your daily computer where you do all sorts of internet shit with. Get a used cheap laptop, install some easy to use Linux distro on it and operate your crypto wallet from this dedicated device.

Invest in a decent hardware wallet and learn to use it properly. Always check every transaction detail on the hardware wallet's own screen very carefully, especially all output addresses BEFORE you sign the transaction.

Do not store your wallet's mnemonic recovery words on any online device. It's best to have only offline and analog backups written on paper and/or stamped in metal.

Do not take digital pictures of your mnemonic recovery words.

Never enter your mnemonic recovery words on an online website, do not let someone fool you to do so.

Hot wallets are where to store very limited part of your bitcoin fund, not most, not all of your bitcoin fund. Hot wallets are more vulnerable to hacks and you have more risk of losing your bitcoin with hot wallets than cold wallets.

Hardware wallets are most recommended for storing big part of your bitcoin fund, because they are cold wallets, and safer than hot wallets.

Setting up a Wallet

There are dozens of wallets to choose from when it comes to securing your private keys. Hardware, software, metal, paper, each with their own trade-offs. Remember: if you aren't holding your own private keys, you don't actually own BTC - you only own an IOU!

Recommended wallets.

Wallet Basics:
Do not use wallets that don't give you recovery data; these wallets are likely controlling your keys.
Do not use paper wallets unless you're an advanced user who understands all the risks.
Do not store large amounts of value in single signature wallets.
Make sure your heirs know how to recover your wallets without you!

Note that it is NOT recommended that novices use the Bitcoin Core wallet. If you want to use a wallet backed by a fully validating node you run, read Securing Your Financial Sovereignty.

OP, it has been three days since the incident, did you figure out what happened and how you got hacked?
When did you create your wallet and when was the last tome you used it? I can see it’s a legacy wallet while Electrum started creating segwit wallets by default since 2021!
Anyway, both transactions (the one you received and the one that wiped your wallet) were included in the same block and the second one payed way more fee thn needed. This suggests this was done automatically either by a malware or a bot which was monitoring your wallet.
