recently I want to sell my btc. when i try to restore my armory wallet from rootkey, after starting armory, it display "failed to spawn the db, continue the operation in offline mode". I cannot find my balance as the result and cannot send transaction.
there are two ways to go on. 1. try to be online mode.2. know the coding way of rootkey and transform it into Mnemonic  and input the Mnemonic into another wallet and do transaction.
thank you for your advice and how to do.

-snip-  there are two ways to go on. 1. try to be online mode.2. know the coding way of rootkey and transform it into Mnemonic  and input the Mnemonic into another wallet and do transaction.
In your "option 2", there's no need to code something like that.
Your private keys are already derived from your root key within Armory, it just can't sync to see your transactions.
So, if you want to proceed with that option, just export the restored private keys from Armory and import those to your other preferred wallet.

Here's a step-by-step guide by HCP: /index.php?topic=4746784.msg43255691#msg43255691
Please read the red warning about your coin's safety.

If you want a safer approach, you may consider exporting the private keys on an offline machine (not just offline Armory)
Then, here's the cold-storage method to import the keys to Electrum (as an alternative to the direct Sweep/Import part): /index.php?topic=5524213.msg64885706#msg64885706
