There are some people in my area who can be said to have a lot of money but they prefer to invest in gold rather than bitcoin. I've known about Bitcoin since 2013 or so, and I have been involved since 2015. So it's been around 10 years for me, and it's been an interesting road with many lessons and some mistakes along the way. However, I believe it is completely normal for people who are new to it to be wary, to take their time to figure out whether they want to invest in Bitcoin or not.
I do believe that Bitcoin will continue growing in the future, but significant growth can easily take another decade, and it might also not happen. So it makes sense to do research and make informed decisions instead of buying Bitcoin out of FOMO.

This might be because of misinformation.  Five years ago I thought the crypto space was a total scam. This was because many people were scammed through different crypto platforms in my location.  It was later I knew the difference between Bitcoin and others.

The best time to buy Bitcoin is when you have the money.  Anybody who is delaying, hoping that the price of Bitcoin will collapse before he buys it, might never own the coin. There's one thing you need to understand in as much that everyone cannot like decentralization and Bitcoin, similarly everyone cannot invest in Bitcoin. I do not like the way you are projecting bitcoin. Truly, Bitcoin has the capability to make those who invest in it rich, but these people shouldn't see investing in bitcoin as a get-rich-scheme. Not everyone would invest in bitcoin  and the fact that they don't invest doesn't really imply that they are missing out on the best thing happening in the world, they can still be doing well for themselves even without investing in bitcoin.
