Sportsbet.io is scamming? $700 stuck

Hello,

I had seen many threads here and on other places about sportsbet.io but now it happened with me.

I registered back in November 2024 and verified my account (it was actually mine and my ex partner account we used together to bet).
I deposited made some withdrawals at the beginning all good, supports was very cooperative and fast reply any email/questions I had.

But now I made a 1.5k deposit and suddenly I can't withdrawal and I was requested to do the verification again with a link sent to my email. I completed it and replied to the email and since then I haven't heard from support and they removed live chat option from my account.

Well it's just 700$ I have stuck now there not big problem but just to warn you guys about them!

I have stake.com cloudbet.com bookmaker.us and all of these accounts I have over 20k and never had such problems like sportsbet.io after a few bets and deposits they requested verification again and don't answer for 700$? Glad I didn't deposited more I was testing them first, just a warning I have seen many threads on other places with similar problems, google up before you join any house!

After I gave my username to jeremypwr on private message, I received a email saying basically the initial person who verified the account was not me but someone else instead, it actually may have been my ex-partner as we played together but I never had any other account , I will request to open one under my name and if I can transfer the funds to the new one since all deposits are from my own binance account.

I will update once (if) they reply to this

So there is a clear issue from YOUR end but still your title of the thread is "Sportsbet.io is scamming". I mean come on. Obviously this is a clear case of multi accounting, intentional or unintentional, whatever it will be. Still you are connected to at least 2 accounts, which is against the TOS. Sounds like a "you" problem and not a casino problem, don't you think?

Looking at the screenshot it sounds really strange tbh. You don't know under who's name your account is running? Kinda sus!!

This is nothing to do with multi accounting, I only have one account.

I put a "?" , The title is not an affirmation.

On their website you can't see which name is it under anywhere at all but it was either me or my ex partner and now I know it's under my ex partner.

all deposits are from my binance account and I can prove that if they needed but I won't be wasting time because all they do is send the same repeated email, they can keep the 700$ its peanuts for me , I will keep with stake and cloudbet, they just lost a good costumer as my twitch gets over 6k live viewers when I am doing casino streamings.

If you still have a picture of you and your ex, perhaps it's a good idea to send it in your email chain with them, just to assure them that the person who did the KYC is your ex and was [at a time] related to you. Might help convincing them that it was not just a case of account changing hand.

I can get a hold of my partner but I rather lose the 700$ then ask her for a thing 😂
I make that daily with my affiliates on stake no big deal

damn, I guess the break up with you and your ex is not amicable if you are willing to lose $700 just to not talk to her. anyway, maybe this is a good time to move any money you have from accounts you have on other casinos that were verified by your ex. also, if are going to open a new account on sportsbet.io it might be best to ask them about your issue to avoid the hassle about multiple accounts arising in the future.

Hearing this "my girlfriend", "my son", "my brother" thing always sounds a bit off tbh. Why would anybody share an account? First of all it's not allowed and second it makes 0 sense. Make you own account and that's it. Or be smart and make 2 accounts and then 1 could even refer the other -> more profit. Obviously this only works if you don't share the same household/wifi/device or whatever. But no, every time there is some story about that somebody else used the account or this or that.

You guys are more worried than me, sportsbet don't ask for any info when registering and I didn't had my id with me at the time they asked for verification and my partner did it but all good

I had the same issue with stake and with all proof of deposit they refunded my money and allowed me to open a new account under my name, that's where we see difference of trusted and not trusted bookies 👍

I asked the same on support and haven't got any reply since I opened this thread, so 100% not trusted this house

Did they take your deposit or just winnings? Sportsbet, Stake and 1xbet sometimes take both. They admit on their Trust Pilot that they take both at times.

So basically you lied in your first post since YOU didn't verify "YOUR" account.

You do understand this is a red flag for any casino, right? They asked you do KYC again and you basically sent the wrong documents, meaning documents that don't fit the actual registration. And you call them scammer now even though it's clearly your fault!

You... wrote that you consider this your fault and wanted this case to be closed. I quoted it on my above post, before you delete them.

And in case you don't know... umm, allow me to rephrase that, I am sure you don't know, that all of the posts on this forum are automatically scraped, archived by two different archivers that the forum members build for many purposes and provide many benefits. This is one of that instance.



So uhh... They are not ignoring you until today. You gave your consent for your case to be marked as resolved, so they move on.

Of which, "the guy here" sent you a PM that redirect you to a KYC page, that you can't perform since it was your ex who did the initial KYC and prompt you to wrote [and later deleted] that you consider this as resolved because you choose to let it go instead of having to reach your ex.

Now, unless you want to reach your ex and ask her to complete the KYC and withdraw the fund and send it to you, it seems to me that case is a moot point that's as good as resolved. Because given she's the one who did KYC, basically it's her account. So, either she has to be the one who do the KYC [whom you refuse to reach] or you can mark this as resolved, because the account was verified [and basically marked] as your ex's, having you to do the KYC will just... not feasible.

What do you expect SB to do? Delete the previous data [which shows your ex as the owner of the account] and accept a new owner?
