if i don't know the value of bitcoin and only got to know about it because you choose to gift me some bitcoin on a valentine day, of what use will that be to be? if the person you give the bitcoin has no plan of long term investment and don't have the resource of adding more bitcoin to the one you have already given him/her, it would not be looked as a valuable gift because of ignorant of it worth.

on a valentine day, people really care about things that are not physical and tangible, giving someone bitcoin will look like gifting them money on a valentine date, it has little value compared to gifting someone an item that the money can be used in purchasing. give your Nigerian girlfriend bitcoin that is even worth $50 or alternatively promise or start teaching her about bitcoin and see if she will be willing to accept such kind of offer. educating someone on bitcoin should be done to an individual that is willing to learn and not someone that will feel that he is being forced into anything.

Giving out some satoshi's isn't the problems but the means of management is the problems, but whenever they understand what they are being issued out to then they would definitely hold tight. Na good suggestion you bring so but did you think is everybody that will accept Bitcoin as a Valentine gift? The reason why I am asking is because Valentine is all about a gift like flowers, cars and some fashion things, and I don't think giving Bitcoin is the best option because even if you give some people Bitcoin as a gift the person can sell it if he or she don't like it as gift and instead of wasting your time giving Bitcoin and the person don't like it or he or she will sell it, it will be better if you give the person money, flower or fashion thing.

Good suggestion brother. I've done that bit before to gift crypto and it was all rosy until the market dipped hard. My opinion on this is that it depends.

Sometimes you just need to do it the classic way we have been doing from the days of the old. At the end of the day, crypto is just to change our life for the better especially since the game is already rigged against us from day 1.

I wouldn't do this myself, although I don't totally condemn it. But I think Valentine is about physical displays of love and affection to people you love and I'll stick to the traditional display of affection which is going on dates, buying flowers and gifts and spending time with loved ones. Bitcoin is a good gift for valentine specially for those who already understand what bitcoin is about and into bitcoin investment but if one have not yet understand what bitcoin is all about then introducing bitcoin to the person is also good gift for the valentine because the knowledge of bitcoin can change one financially in the future,  it is not like other valentine gifts that is there only for the moment.

Bitcoin to me an investment of great value and that's why I'm not gonna throw it around all in the name of Valentine's Day gift to a girlfriend.
