My only concern as regard non kyc casinos is that most of them are likely or will likely turn to scam, like I believe some users must have mentioned, scammers know that most gamblers hate kyc, and they might be taking advantage of this to launch non kyc casinos just for the sole purpose of scamming people, by this, my advice would be that gamblers be very careful when choosing a non kyc casino to gamble on.

Having KYC guarantees absolutely nothing. And not only in relation to the casino, but in general. It is enough to recall the FTX exchange as an example of fraud, which is "plastered" on all sides by KYC and regulatory documents. Customer identification was not invented for the safety of customers and their protection from fraud. It was invented to monitor customers and collect taxes from them for every breath.
Indeed KYC does not provide us with 100% security in gambling or trading, but in this case, KYC becomes a wall that protects users or platforms from any possibility of illegal activities that harm all parties, I personally see KYC is not a problem that we should avoid, engven though we will provide our identity data but usually third parties will store the data safely, because after all the kyc is based on compliance with regulations applied by the relevant authorities.
Btw I don't see what happened to FTX as an example of fraud, because as far as I know FTX is a platform that experienced bankruptcy and we cannot equate it with fraud, even if you read the current news related to FTX, then you will find if they start making payments for compensation for users who lost assets in FTX.

Responsibility in gambling is a different thing from anonymity, but I can see how you all try to connect them. Because our money is now being monitored we try to be more responsible? I dont think that applied to gamblers in the past and nor will it affect them now. Gambling is based on the kick that winning leads to and to get that people will spend like they are addicted to the game.

Responsibilities are thrown aside for now, but eventually the sheer truth comes face to face then the regret phase starts.

KYC or not is part of the person's choice to anonymity. A responsible person IMO will use any casino they wish to with minimal spending.

I recently noticed a trend where no-KYC crypto casinos are becoming increasingly popular in regions with strict regulatory environments. What do you think are the key factors driving this shift, and how might it impact responsible gambling practices?

When thinking of the impact on responsible gambling practices it's not just the overcoming of strict regulatory environments I have in mind. But rather also easy access to illicit use such as by minors, etc..
Well, realistically speaking, there will be no restrictions on minors when it is a no-KYC online gambling platform. Honestly that can't be helped; truth is, whether there is KYC or not, minors will still gamble one way or the other. So we won't say to avoid underage gambling, we should dismiss the importance of no-KYC gambling platforms; this is just one hiccup in the system, no system is without hiccups.

The intention for people to use no-KYC crypto casinos still high demand so that makes many no-KYC crypto casinos launch. They provide a place for gamblers who don't want to do KYC so that could be the key factors driving this shift. People thinks they just want to gamble and not spends too much money which can triggers KYC.

But responsible gambling practices will on the gamblers itself and not from casinos. If gamblers can limits their gambling activity, they will not getting trouble. KYC exist to monitor the customers and not relating to illegal activity and KYC also limiting the access for the minors so they will not playing gambling easily.

Responsible gaming is a joke, is not a real thing, we all know that doesnt really work, maybe a few guys can be prevented to play thanks to it but in reality a gambler is like an addict to any other substance and you know how it work, they are gonna find the way to fullify their needs so if you have a profile in the responsibile gaming they are gonna use other name or go to darkest place to place.

Come on, guys. This thread was already more than a year old before it got bumped.

There doesn’t seem to be any relevant discussion left here, and continuing to post in it is starting to look more like spam than a useful conversation.   Sad

Haven't we seen that many gambling platforms that does not require KYC and not even recognize as those that do require for kyc, which tells us more that responsible gambling was not tied to KYC or not, it is only about our individual discretion towards how we have decided to gamble, that is why a particular Gambler we have something in his mind and until he achieves such he may not give up upon every attempt he made, so we should not attach kyc to a responsible gambling as they both self different purpose and the Gambler should determine whom he choose to be as a gambler, and not take KYC as an excuse.

Yeah, I think there's still plenty of demand for no-KYC casinos. A lot of gamblers value their privacy and don't want to upload their personal documents every time they sign up at a new casino. And in my opinion that's why these platforms continue to attract gamblers despite increasingly strict regulations.
As for KYC, its main purpose is indeed to comply with AML regulations, prevent fraud, and restrict underage gambling. However, most gamblers are wary of it not because they're trying to hide anything illegal, but in 95% of cases because they're concerned about the safety of their personal data.

When thinking of the impact on responsible gambling practices it's not just the overcoming of strict regulatory environments I have in mind. But rather also easy access to illicit use such as by minors, etc..
It is possible to explain this with a simple fact that in those regions where gambling is strictly controlled, responsible gamblers generally do not want to participate because in that case, they are said to be very safe and it is risky for them to participate. In that case, of course, there are underage gamblers and those who do not have KYC documents, but because they are underage, the number of them participating in breaking the prevailing laws of the family and the country increases unexpectedly. Only non-KYC casinos target those regions where gambling is strictly prohibited, those who have documents generally do not want to participate, but non-KYC casinos are sought by the youth and minors of those regions who do not have government documents. In this way, non-KYC casinos get most of the gamblers from those regions where strict laws are enacted for gambling.

KYC doesn’t stop someone from gambling too much. Deposit limits and self-exclusion are more useful. DustBit has those tools without verifying every account by default. I’m working with them, but I don’t see why privacy and responsible gambling can’t exist together.

KYC does not provide a 100% security but it at least prevents some certain things, especially now that alot of young people are growing up to be a scammer. If gambling sites are not well secure and protected people can easily have access to it. Alot of scammers might have their eyes on gambling sites. KYC has no contributions to make in terms of self control, gambling responsibly, limited expenses towards gambling and so on. These are individual's decisions, if they are smart enough they will gamble responsibly and maintain their standard.

Increasingly popular at where? Name few because this days almost all online casinos that I know and use are all asking for KYC verification, if you are seeing few new ones asking you to gamble without KYC verification it's an act of advertisement.

In due time they will join the others because they can't keep letting strangers gamble on their platforms with no verification, if the casino doesn't want to the regulators will push their hands.

The more popular a online casino gets the more will probably be asked to get licensed and also start asking customers for KYC information, this is just a normal thing to do if you want to run online casino business today.

Do KYC  casino automatically means responsible gambling before? Simple answer : No.. they only encourage and every casino does that in the first place.

Countries with strict regulatory are majorly after Casinos following rules set by states, it only help in that aspect if responsible gambling is part of it..

Hence if it’s banned then there’s nothing like either KYC or NO-KYC  allowed, gamblers have to use NO-KYC in secret and that doesn’t help with responsible gambling either..

The point is that responsible gambling is a gambler responsibility.. Casinos can’t tell if a gambler gambles responsibly or not.

Lol, it's incredible that they don't even bother to read a couple of posts to notice this bump.

Which was probably done by OP's son. I mean, the creator of this thread is named Michael Connor, you know, Connor, although that was John Connor from Terminator. Anyway, it's an old joke that might be hard for some people to understand.

I think one should read not only the context but also the OP's post date, and maybe check where the conversation is going and realize that it's a typical bot bump.

But here I am, contributing to the spam. This might not help, but before it continues, let's highlight it in red.

Honestly, KYC dose not actually determine nor proves if a gambler is responsible or not, rather the focus is more on regulation, the casinos established this in other to monitoring and control gamblers activities. lot of gamblers does not like the idea of KYC as they might fall or tend to violate some certain rules set by a casino, some casino's skip making the KYC known at the beginning but later request for it to ensure safety, it looks like some casino hid the part that they operate on KYC and attract gamblers who are avoiding it but are surprised later, especially when a gambler wants to place a withdrawal and boom a KYC is requested imagine what will happen if he is not got for it. At times is later  KYC trap most gamblers funds.

I will always say that those person who already doing the reckless gambling I don't think it will be any fact for them that non KYC or KYC verification casino. Because it is not the case that just because a gambler has KYC verified on a platform, he will be allowed to use the amount of funds that he has the capacity to lose. There are many KYC verified casinos where you can bet a million dollars at once, no matter how much you can afford to lose.

And about the non-kyc casino that was already proved as popular things in the past and as well I think it will be stay in the future also.

This dude seems to have bumped this thread out of nowhere, and the post looks more like a particular casino promotion than actually saying anything about the general no-KYC trend.

There's a huge difference between KYC and responsible gambling. KYC is just to know who you are. Responsible gambling is how you are gambling and whether you need some kind of self exclusion when you gamble out of place.

A casino may have KYC and still be terrible at responsible gambling. Likewise have KYC and still be good at responsible gambling. So it goes both ways.

If a minor is savvy they could get away with a lot in today's day and age. This post for some reason got me thinking about whether or not their will be actual gaming casinos you csn play in the highly anticipated GTA 6. Rumor had it that youd be abke to do anything practically. I feel like if they did they will have to create a regulatory approve gambling service that is online

While related, KYC and responsible gambling are not synonymous. Players can play and wager high stakes at a casino without meeting the KYC requirements. Even so, a good no-KYC casino will have other responsible gambling options like loss limits. Cooling off periods and self-exclusion. Among others the key is not to ask if the operator collects identity documents, but rather, if they actively encourage safe gambling practices. KYC is primarily used for compliance and fraud prevention. Whereas casinos policies and protection are essential to responsible gambling.
