In the past, I've purchase vanity address for a fee.  I believe I was using:

https://bitcoinvanity.appspot.com

There was a way that involved split keys I remember such that my private key remained private.  However, this link no longer appears to work. 

Does anyone know what happened to this service?

I'd like to get a quote for a fairly complex vanity address (7 letters) and purchase it if the price is reasonable.  Does anyone know of a secure service that will find me a vanity address?
