Not everyone who likes to watch football match and is so enthusiastic even cheers quite loudly just because they bet on the team that is competing, if you have ever watched football match in the stadium directly you will be able to find where there is choreography with accompaniment of songs or cheers voiced by supporters until the match is over, this is proof of love for the favorite team.
I personally happy when see my favorite team win the match and can get even greater joy when I bet on it at the same time, so all that is done by fans will not always be just for betting reasons.

People can get excited for both reasons. I try not to bet on my favorite team in any sport because I would be betting with my heart and they say your judgement is clouded when you do that, but I do enjoy a game more when the team I placed a wager on is winning. If my favorite team is playing I just watch the game usually so I can enjoy it without emotions ruining the game for me if my team is losing.

Well if you put a bet on your favorite team and then won, obviously, you are very happy and excited. However, there are games that you're going to used your analysis and you might go against your favorite team and so it's going to be a mix emotions as you might win your ticket but then seeing your team losing the match.

But that is the pure definition of sports betting, not often you bet on your favorite team. And it's the unknown, and the end of the day, you shouldn't be attaching your emotions to these games, just saying, and it's all about winning.

When my favorite club won, that give me a time to enjoy the moment with my friends and family. They will happy with that and will celebrate it with all of us inside the house.

People who like to watch sports have favorite teams, I have favorite teams in football and cricket. If my favorite team plays and if my favorite team wins, I have a lot of fun. On the other hand, if we talk about betting, there are some who bet on the favorite team. I also bet on favorite team on one hand my favorite team will win and on the other hand I will win the bet, it is more fun to win both the favorite team and the bet together. Also without betting, I get excited if my favorite team plays and I cheer if they win.

Asides that most of them won, not everyone who goes to the viewing center are gamblers some are hard-core fans of various teams that prefer to view their team with their fellow fans in a viewing center instead staying at home, anyways football is one of the most entertaining sports worldwide that's it's followed up and watched by many, sometimes the jubilation is not all about winning tickets but rival fans who are happy their rivals lost or hard-core fans that are happy their team won.

 I avoid betting on the team I support to avoid getting all emotional in a case whereby we lose for example am a Chelsea fan, imagine betting on them against Brighton days ago and they lost, the emotions would be heated so I avoid situations like that and rather bet on other teams, I'll only support them in every match day.

In my country, when betting on sport matches was not common, people watching ball in viewing centers jubilate and make noises when the club they are fan of score. It is not just about betting. Although, betting can be part of it but not necessarily the reason for the jubilation.

If my bet is on my favourite club to win and they score a goal or perhaps win the match, I will be excited for two things - that my favourite club won and that I won by bet. But we know that sometimes our bet is not on our favourite team because of our lack of confidence in their performance due to past result, so there is a conflict when we bet against them and they score. We don't know whether to be happy for their improved performance or that their win will result in a loss of our bet. The excitement from such a game will be merely a reflex action.

Unless you play the match on IRL (stadium or venue) while you are sitting in the supporter team place. You would see cases of football fans cheering on the streets when their favorite team won or some even causing violence and destruction when their favorite team loses. I do not need to bet on my favorite club if my purpose of gambling is for profit. This question doesn't make sense because either way I will be happy. If I were gambling only for fun and I bet on my favorite sports team just simply out of hopium and they actually do deliver and win while at the same time I do as well then of course I will be happy.

But if I just betted on a team I think could win regardless of who I am a fan of and I win, then it is still a happy moment for me.

You get excited from both, I get more excited when my favourite club is winning and I also placed money on them to win, at this point it's no longer just getting excited but tend to brag to opposite fans. This seems like a stupid question. I don't know about any football fans, who get sad and depressed, when their favorite club wins.
I also don't know about any sports bettors, who get sad when they win money. Your question is structured in a weird way. There's no "or".
Many sports bettors don't bet on their favorite clubs. They can get excited when their favorite teams wins AND when their bets turn out to be profitable. There's no ""if this then that" situation here. I wouldn't say that I "love" football. I enjoy it, but sometimes it drives me crazy.
