Mostly, we bet on our favorite team or club, so if they win, we are happy. However, did you know that on average most of the time our favorite club loses by point spread, since perhaps our favorite club is also the favorite of other fans, which I assume we are talking about them being the favorite in betting as well.

There are some bettors who bet against their favorite club because they rely on their analysis and not their emotions, so we can say that they think like pros, and I believe there are only a few of them and I also believe they are successful in sports betting.

Many sports bettors don't bet on their favorite clubs. They can get excited when their favorite teams wins AND when their bets turn out to be profitable. There's no ""if this then that" situation here. I wouldn't say that I "love" football. I enjoy it, but sometimes it drives me crazy.

There is nothing wrong about his question. There are some people that are extremely happy just because the club they go for won the match. Also I have seen a man before that was feeling unwell at a viewing center when the club playing against his country scored first goal. I always feel excited when my favorite team win, though I don't know about other people. I think the reason why most people don't always get excited when their favorite team win, sometimes is due to thier poor performance. so they can decide to bet against their favorite team, probably when the outcome is in the favour of their team at this point they start feeling depressed. because that is not actually what they were expecting, Sometimes even if I bet against my favorite team due to thier poor performance but if they succeeded in gaining victory in that match I will be so excited. This is not always the case. There are some genuine football lovers. If you search on Facebook, you will find hundreds of Facebook groups and millions of people discussing football every day. Have you ever heard of Bangladesh? Even though cricket is the most popular sport in this country, people get crazy during football season. Brazil and Argentina fans always fight and continue to debate.

If you search on the internet, you will find hundreds of videos where Bangladeshi people cheering and screaming for Argentina. Even the Argentine officials know about this. Do you think all those people support a certain team because they gamble? I don't think so.

I am only happy when my team that I cherish for is winning and I am watching the game live in the stadium. When I have bet on them and I go to the stadium and they happen to win I am more happy for my team that they won rather that I won also my sport betting ticket. I understand though as I see football watching centers getting really noisy where I leave and they usually are near a stadium and they don't only watch local league games but also international games and they are cheering most because of the tickets they have placed rather because that their team won.

Here in my country, when there are games involving Sporting, Benfica, Porto, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester City, I usually hear a lot of shouting. People here in my country watch the games and also fight when their teams lose. I honestly can't understand why they go so far as to fight over football teams. In my case, I watch the games because I like them and not because I bet money on them. That's why I'm happy when my team wins even when I don't bet on them

Just recently I watched a garbage time of an NBA game because I have a parlay of Over/Under. A garbage time is an event where people are going out of the basketball floor because it's a sure win for the other team. It gets me pumped up whenever both teams are scoring because I need those scores badly to meet the amount of total score that I placed.

Just like I feel when I watch a match from my favorite team, full of cheers as you said, my friend and I even willingly come there and it takes about 2 hours from my hometown, and thankfully the match brings my favorite team and my bet to victory, of course it makes me very happy and full of admiration during the match. However, it should be noted that not everyone who watches their favorite team while placing bets, because some of my friends just want to watch. when you see people shouting and jubilating at viewing centers, 90% of the shout is nothing related to the outcome of the prediction any one has done and whether or not anyone has won his bet. no one really send if you have won or not at the time the game is still ongoing. the two main category of people that makes the loudest noise in viewing centers are people that are fanning the team that is playing and then there team scores, they will normally jubilate, the second category of people that makes such noise is those that are against such team that are playing, they will always jubilate when the team they are against are losing. the joy that comes with watching games at viewing centers surpasses just the outcome of your prediction, when you even have a running game, most times the individual will always keep quiet when his game has cut and if the goal scored helps him win his bet, he can then join in the shouting. viewing center is still the best place to watch live matches.

Not everything should be about money. I get enthusiastic when my favorite club wins, despite not placing any bets on it. I enjoy watching the matches when my club has a good squad which plays with passion cooperatively.

Last year, for an example, it was a magical one for me. It was the best in the history of the club and in my life regards soccer, because Botafogo took two titles at once, being Libertadores da America its first in history, while Campeonato Brasileiro was its third title.

There wasn't any money involved and I wasn't making any profit from the matches. Still, I couldn't be happier about it! No amount of money in the world could replace the feeling of watching the final between Botafogo and Atletico MG, where Botafogo lost one player before the first minute of game, and still managed to beat the other team by 3x1 with 10 players on the field. Buddy I come to realize that some gamblers don't longer have a preferred team just because they gamble to make money not the other way round, so we don't expect a gambler that gambles for only the money alone to be happy just because his preferred team won unless we are talking about those gamblers that don't bet of their favourite or preferred team as we individuallly chose to call it, for me I don't gamble on my preferred team for personal reasons, am a gambler that believes that no matter how things are been twisted in gambling, we must admit the fact that gambling is an emotional thing and as a gamblers we must approach things that involve emotions with smartness, I watch my preferred team without betting on them, if they lose I will be unhappy, if they win then I will be full with excitement but sincerely, buddy I get excited when I win bet but I dont bet on my favorite club just as I have said earlier.

If I am not betting a game, I usually am not trying to make a prediction. There are exceptions like the NFL survivor pools, or if I find a weekly pool, but there is still money involved so I guess what I just said still holds true. If I don't have money on a game, I don't usually have much of an opinion.

There are folks that like to keep a record of their predictions and at some point post their record and try to gain some followers and sell their picks, but you have to have a decent record to get people interested.
