First time hearing of Fartcoin it really sound funny by the way. For me i think it is Poocoin weird right. If you introduced it at first to someone new they might think it has to do with excreting poo but its a rug pull checker that confirms the integrity of a token. The last one on my mind is Freecoin, obviously no coin is free it must cost a cent or more. I dont know why they decide to name it Freecoin. You can make more research on it though so that you can get more details to publish in your article.

Way back, in 2017 or 2018, there was a coin that was literally just some dude saying "I am going to just take your money", no idea what the name of the coin was, but the website was literally just about how he doesn't have any plan to improve anything, it was just an ICO to take our money and that's it, and he was open about it. Which is what he did, he released it, did ICO, made 200k+ dollars, and then he just deleted the website and the website only had the word "pen1s" on it, nothing else.

I do understand nobody should have invested, that 200k+ dollars was raised because people thought others would buy too, just for the "fun" of it, or how it was viral and everybody at the time knew it, but that didn't work out and price crashed literally same day, and he just took everyone's money like he promised.

Op has not said anything about the projects what made them to be  embarrassing and all what I am seeing there is names of projects which clinging to him but what was really happened. I was expecting more details from him because a project that bad for one person might favour another.  But coming to the clingiest project ever in my life it is hamster Kombat project which is the embarrassing project I have ever seen.

ICO era is ended long time ago, but still I can not forget some ICO project although those was looks bright but those was failed, and many investors was lost lots of money, actually I think in that way ICO era was ended because a lot of SCAM projects, So many shit projects I have been seen in ICO era.

I remember there was an ICO for a token for the dental industry. I don’t think Dentacoin is still alive based on their CoinMarketCap page, which shows $0 trading volume in the past 24 hours. Back in those days all you had to do was attach the word blockchain to some industry and you could do an ICO which could raise millions of dollars.

I still think the idea of a web browser having its own token is a stupid idea, yet BAT still exists. There are many more examples from back then, but these days grifters have stopped pretending their tokens have utility and get straight to rug pulling within hours of launching coins based on memes.

Definitely the rizzler and the hawk tuah memecoins. I know they are memecoins and they are obviously deprived from memes but I really do not find these memes funny which is why maybe they appeared cringe and corny to me. They did not result to anything significant anyway and hawk tuah girl is now facing a lawsuit.

Another cringe memecoin for me is the chill guy coin. The meme was funny for some time then it got so overused that I was so sick of it and then someone made a token from that meme and the original creator warned those who will use it for profit gains will be sued. So, these projects I found cringe safe to say did not end well.

To be fair, I wouldn't really be able to differentiate between all these memecoins. As long as it's a memecoin, all of them are quite cringe to me, people trying ot be "funny" while they are failing at it miserably, and also project devs taking themselves so seriously like they are going to build the next big thing.

Shiba did that, Floki did too, and Ape did the same, and even Pepe did it. When you looked all of them, they named it for "fun" reasons when it wasn't fun at all, not even a smirk, and also the project devs talked about how much the future will be great because they are working on some awesome stuff, when in reality people only invested for the hype and quick profits, nobody took them seriously, only they did it to themselves that's it.

I think that is cringy enough, but the thing is that there are still investors who fall for that trick and then bitch around when they've lost huge amount of money because of manipulation and pump and dump scheme.

I'm not familiar though with the two coins that you mentioned, however, if you are a smart investors, might not good to invest on those. It's all of the fun until they scam investors.

Hawk Tuah or any other "here is a celeb, here is a token of it" type of thing are the cringiest ones without a doubt. There are a lot of people and movements that became a meme, and then people made the memecoins of them, trying to take advantage of the situation, rarely it was with the blessing of the person itself, but it was always done. Hell, Elon Musk is so influential in this world that whenever he said something, people made tokens of it and hoped that it would go up.

I have seen so many 5000%+ ups on silly tokens with just a few million dollars marketcap, because of some tweets. In the end, ALL of them were cringe to me, and I never made any sense to it at all and can't be really seeing that as a good investment.

In my view, Bitcoin SV was the cringeiest one I can think of right now. When I look back on it, Bitcoin Cash was never really liked by anyone, people just got their free money there and then cashed out, but at least it was fighting for something, fighting for the miners to make more money, sure nobody cared because bitcoin itself is more important than miners, but in the end they had some logic behind it all, so I can say that makes sense for a while.

SV had none of that, Craig Wright had some money, and wanted to make a stance, and he lost his battle over bitcoin cash, so he went and made his fork, which nobody ever cared about and crashed hard. That dude really doesn't know how to take "no" for an answer at all, totally oblivious how he looks.
