Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Nice. Dilution screws all the people that already mined. What a joke. Glad I dumped many of the Crap-e diem I had. No worries You can get
billions more... What a scam! What if bitcoin diluted the same way? BTC to 10 cents. Crap-e Diem to

This is obviously an april-fools joke... (There is only 20 pages of clutter in that post. Tongue)

DIEM would then have to trade against DIME to be worth anything. lol.

Seriously, the best thing DIEM could do, is move the decimal place over, four spots to the left, to make it seem partially normal in value. The above post would be like moving the decimal 8 spaces to the right, which would be the "Zimbabwe method". lol.

Even better to just keep the reward the same, but change the block-time to 60 seconds, like a sub-normal coin.

What makes you keep coming back to troll this coin?  Why not another coin, or none at all? Just wondering what your motivation is.

According to his other name, cubes, we stole something like 200 LTC - Which is weird, because first he said we stole DIEM

Even though I (any many others) have given away hundreds of millions combined

His motivation is his hurt pride. He deleted a bunch of the posts (but many were quoted and he was unable to remove) that prove this point. He accused one of the folks that has given millions of DIEM away at Poloniex of stealing 3 million DIEM. This was because he does not know how to use the block explorer and the deposit was made into the Poloniex account, not a personal wallet. This was broken to him VERY gently by the DIEM dev and he basically flew off the handle and has not looked back since. The old thread for DIEM tells the story. At first I kinda poked back at his trolling, then encourage we ignore him, and then I reverted back to feeding the troll. In retrospect a big mistake, because I am certain he will never let it go. I am sure he will flame this, but I really kinda feel sorry for the guy at this point.

Is it?

Well, reading these posts while at work leads to poor observations. For some reason I did no read the multipool part and others seemed to be thinking it meant the supply would be going up, but that isn't the case I guess.

..... wait.

I guess I can't see how this would even be possible unless the fees were like 300%. Or,,, maybe I just have not figured out what the hell the payout source is for the multipool yet. If it is from transactions fees and from buying up DIEM through mining other coins, then I still can't figure this out. Damn it, I am a fool. The coin is not as mined out as I thought. So the 3 coin block was to be for a very long time, but this will speed up the reaching of 26 Billion? Guess everyone will have a chance to get in on the action if they have felt left out before. Or not . Have you ever dug a hole so deep you were tempted to delete your own post? LOL.

In any case, I will be sure to have some mining power pointed at the regular pool this Friday evening.
