I was thinking something fairly simple for the name: RadCoin. Rad is used nowadays to describe something "radical", and the project's aims/goals/desc. is pretty radical in terms of innovation if you know what i mean. Rad also means a bike/bicycle in german, so that has a relativity with German/Munich as well. Other names could include: MarkCoin (Germany's old money, kinda like PesetaCoin's main competitor) SupraCoin. (Influenced by the shoes, could have wings on the S of the logo and it'd look cool imo) AbsolutCoin, sounds fun to say and vodka is good ///M coin (although could have problems with trademarking; i love BMW) All i can think now are these! I'd like to emphasize RadCoin though it sounds the best for this project

Let's try it with some words in latin: coin: nummus masterpice: opus experience: usus ...and if we combine nummus, opus and usus we will get: NUPUS, NOPUS,... or something like that. strictly speaking: one Nopus, one Nopus-Cent Great! - sounds like fun with currency and money...

Hello, First of all, I would like to thanks everybody for the coin name suggestions. This contest is now finished. We have seen many good things, and we will let you know very soon who is the winner of this contest. Website will come very soon too. About our initial IPO, we decided today after 3 days of discussion to close the current IPO, considering the lack of interest, probably cause of the low reward we initially chosen. To make the things better, we decided to let you vote about the best way we should choose for our next IPO : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=569468.0Feel free to let us know what do you think about a good form of IPO. Anyways, the reward for the coin name contest remains unchanged. Thanks you again, Donn.

What about with the project name for the name of the coin.
Munich Coin Or PreciousCoin Immortal Coin
Votary Coin Addiction Coin
Or maybe u could use some of gemstone name Jadeite Coin (Jadeite is one of the most expensive gemstone in the world, more than $3.000.000/carat) Jadeite is the most expensive type of gemstone in the world, this is actually Jadeite mineral pyroxene. Jadeite has colors like apple green, emerald green, turquoise or green onion leaves. The more green the color of the stone, the higher the price. This stone is very rare, Guatemala is one of the producers of Jadeite. This stone is very rare cause very high costs of more than 2.5 million dollars per carat, in addition to the historical factors also cause this stone as world's most expensive stones.
Hope Coin The Hope Diamond is a large, 45. 52 carat (9. 10 g), housed at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC The Hope Diamond blue to the naked eye because of trace amounts of boron in the crystal structure, but exhibits a red phosphor under ultraviolet light. It is classified as a Type IIb diamond, and is famous for being a curse.
The Sancy Coin (Unestimated) The Sancy, a pale yellow diamond of 55. 23 carat (11. 05 g), once belonged to famous ancient Great Mogul, but more likely from India who was cut because of the unusual with Western standards. Shield-shaped stone consists of two back-to-back crowns (the typical upper stone) but does not have any resemblance to a pavilion (the bottom of the stone, below the belt or the middle of the body).
Steinmetz Coin (about $25 million) The Steinmetz Pink is the diamond weighing 59. 60 carat (11. 92 grams), given a color as Fancy Vivid Pink by the Gemological Institute of America. The Steinmetz Pink is the largest known diamond has been given Vivid Pink. As a result of this extraordinary scarcity, the Steinmetz Group took careful 20 months to cut the Pink. It was introduced in Monaco on May 29, 2003, in a public ceremony. The Steinmetz Pink is displayed as part of the Smithsonian's "The Splendor of Diamonds" exhibition, in addition to the De Beers Millennium Star, the second largest in the world (the Centenary largest Diamond) top color (D) internally and externally flawless pear-shaped diamond in 203. 04 carat (40. 608 g), the Heart of Eternity Diamond, which is 27. 64 carats (5. 582 g) blue diamond heart-pieces and Moussaieff Red Diamond, the world's largest known Fancy Red diamond in 5. 11 rust (1. 102 g).
The Cullinan Coin ($400 million) The Cullinan diamond is the largest rough gem-quality diamond ever found, at 3, 106. 75 carat (621. 35 g). Stone polishing gemstones named the largest of the Cullinan I or The First Star Of Africa, and at 530. 2 carats (106. 0 g) is the largest diamond in the world until the 1985 discovery of the Golden Jubilee Diamond, 545. 67 carat (109. 13 g), also from the Premier Mine. Cullinan I is now mounted in the head with sticks Cross. The second largest gem from the Cullinan stone, Cullinan II or the Little Star of Africa, at 317. 4 carats (63. 5 g), is the fourth largest diamond in the world. Both gems are in the Crown Jewels of the United Kingdom.
Or the weird one.... Koh-i-Noor K ? Hi N ? R ( Hindi : ? ? ? ? ? ? ? , Persian / Urdu : ? ? ? ? ? ? , Telugu : ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ) Which means " Mountain of Light " from Persian , also spelled Kohinoor , Koh - e Noor or Koh - i - Nur is 105 carats ( 21 . 6 g ) diamond that was once known as the largest diamond in the world . The Kohinoor originated at Golconda in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India . It belonged to various Sikh , Mughal and Persian rulers who fought bitterly over it at various points in history and seized as a spoil of war time and again . After completely ignoring the Maharaja Ranjit Singh 's will was finally seized by the East India Company and became part of the Crown Jewels England when the British Prime Minister declared Benjamin Disraeli Queen of Queen Victoria of India in 1877 . This is a legend that whoever owns the Koh - i - Noor will rule the world . The possibility of a curse pertaining to ownership of the diamond dates back to a Hindu text relating to the first authenticated appearance of the diamond in 1306 : " He who owns this diamond will own the world , but will also know all its misfortunes . " He who has this diamond will own the world , but will also know all misfortune . " Only God , or a woman , can wear it freely . "
I hope one coin names that I suggest could be considered for use

If it comes from Germany, you can call it BailOut (BO). Maybe €BO or eBO for simplicity . BTW long time ago we were discussing a name for a "New German crypto" -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=201326.msg2102665#msg2102665 I still would love to see something like Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungenzahlungsmittel_I/1_Ausf_A1.exe in my Task manager as eating 100% of CPU and 50% of memory. That would be so geeky . Other ideas: Just call it BMW. Easy to abbreviate, easy to remember, lot's of positive associations. NeueMark or NewMark (NM) is pretty boring. OK take this seriously: Thaler "...coin used throughout Europe for almost four hundred years." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thaler This name will give a sense of traditions, stability and enduring value.
