I love reading about Warren Buffett, as he's a good man with a gentle soul, a role model and motivation. Indeed, before 50, he has lower than a percentage of the current fortune, and at 60, about 4.5% of the current wealth. The fortune significantly turned around after 60, with over 96% of the current worth acquired them.

This is one of the real life experiences that proves some life's calculations wrong. Be it 30, 40, 50 and even 60, it's never too late. Hard work, seriousness, grace and luck can still do it for anyone. The issue, sometimes, lies with the location/environment, lack of resources/opportunities and lateness of self-discovery.

If we want to get success in young age then you have to prepare in early life but most of the time people have no knowledge in early life because they are not too mature to learn the practical things of life . When a person is young he has full energy to do work and also he has time to spend on different things and he can also invest his time on learning through which he will be successful in next years . Ordinarily, this is exposing the powerful nature of compounding. Somehow many in 30s are not well to do to talk of being a millionaire much more a billionaire. Whether things are going well or not working accordingly, 30s should be a foundation building time. This is because some who became so rich in 30s didn't have enough in their 50s and some became poor even.

It's kinda pointless to become extremely rich at a very old age. I would rather want to become a millionaire at the age of 35-40 than become a billionaire at the age of 70. Warren Buffet isn't a good example, because the stocks markets were very different 40 years ago.

Why at the age of 35-40? If we dream, let's dream better and become millionaires at the age of 20 It's better to own millions when you are young, capable and full of energy, not after your prime is gone. I would say that men's prime finishes in early 40s.

Most of the billionaires and extremely rich people increased their wealth in the recent years mostly due to the Federal Reserve printing more money and pumping the financial markets. Elon Musk would never been worth 400 billion dollars 30 years ago. I remember the days, when Bill Gates and Buffet were considered the richest people on the world, and their wealth was less than 70 billion USD. We live in a crazy world right now.

You are true. A millionaire from 1970 is too different from a millionaire from 2026. I would also say that a million could buy much more decades than even 10 times higher money can buy today. There was lots of corruption decades ago and much lesser mechanism of control, there were no cameras and everything could be manipulated/bought by money.

I can't confirm but if we keep in mind that Bitcoin is the product of informational technology, then it's 100% fair to assume that most of forum members are in their 30s. Those are the people that learnt programming and followed this path.

I once heard someone say, if there's anything that can go back, then what would you want to go back to, and that person's answer was age. That's a very good answer in my opinion, because surely in his mind he has planned something, and it could happen maybe because there is something he regrets, or there is something he doesn't want to go back to.
I would also want the same thing if I were given the opportunity to turn back time. But don't feel it's too late no matter how old we are, the most important thing in my opinion is how we can be better even though we are no longer young.

Many of my friends are married even though they are still under 30 years old or even under 25 years old. The case that I often find is that some of my friends who get married at that age end up divorcing, there are several factors that cause it such as finances, unpreparedness and others. I myself am not in a hurry in that regard although sometimes I think about it I just prepare myself first. Moreover, I am not yet confident in my own situation, including my finances.

One thing I noticed from those billionaires is that, building wealth is hard until certain threshold, then after that your wealth most likely will took off once you get enough wealth, reputation, and trust to build your reputation.

The more capital you got, the easier to be rich. I bet those 3% are harder to obtain than the remaining 97% buffet acquired at the age of 60.

Absolutely true age is just overrated in this thread. Even after 30 there is still enough time to learn and grow. I even feel  thats when one tends to understand themselves better, they now know q what works and what doesn't. What approach guarantees better result and where to channel their energy to.

There are people who pick up new skills in their 40s and 50s build it slowly, and turn it into something solid, while mich  younger people are still confused and waiting for the right time to start. The difference is rarely age it's boils down to consistency, determination, drive and how much each individual believes in the building process.

What is your point in this thread because I don't get it OP. Are you saying that young people can't make money in their thirties or twenties the fact is that you can't use one person to use as an example. There are allot of people who have made monies in their early stage what you have to know is that there is no age that is stipulated for anyone to make money some people make money in their fifties while others make money in their early age.


The problem is that most of the young people are taking over by youthful problems they don't have a clear focus and direction,this could be attracted to their the kind of orientation system that was passed down to them. Environmental factors too play a role here there are allot of distractions for the today youths it's only take a youth that is disciplined and focused to concentrate on becoming successful in an early age.

Talking about Buffet, i catch many lessons that are often missed from his success. Age is not about number, and it is show how long he growing seed of his success, so his pile of wealth in his 60th is not coincedance. In my opinion and experience, emotional and psychological composure is non negotiable key point of his success, his calm generates thousand stable and consistant investation decision. Wealthy can not be achieved with single smart decision. I assume he train his patience for compounding, and dare to say no to wrong opportunity and keep his consistency even he's not yet see the result. What we should do in our 30 is update and upgrade our compounding skill, building reputation and trust, trust and long term reputation, and ensuring our mental clarity, so at least we can quite mantain our financial life with sutain wealth that keep growing until we are 60.

I agree with you. Age really shouldn’t be a limitation when it comes to learning and growth. What matters more is having a strong and healthy mindset.

At the end of the day, success depends on various factors. Some people start learning early, others much later, and both paths can still lead to good results. As the saying goes, “A patient dog eats the fattest bone.”

In many Nigerian homes, parents focus heavily on formal education and often discourage children from early hustling or skill building. There is a timeframe for each one of us, and it is through what we are doing that we will achieve the desired financial results. Some find their financial breakthroughs at a very young age, while others are still finding their feet at an age above 30. when they say life starts at 30 it means that  in your 20's you must have learnt everything necessary because that phase of life is meant for self development, when you get to 30 years old you ate starting life with what you have learnt. but the mistake a lot of people make at that age is that they start trying to do things that they should have done in their 20's at that point life becomes more difficult. sometimes to achieve a success does not only come back hardworking or by advanced age but it come by experience and the practice, there are some people who achieve their success at the age of 30s and at age of 28 so the difference is very clear it depends on when God want you to exploit and it has serious you are to achieve your goa,l that is one thing that is very important, you can start a race of success with someone, but at end something else come up the other person progress more than you that does not mean that you are not trying or you are not being adequate for what you are doing but the thing is that the grace of one to be higher than another
