I am not quite certain if the people in this forum understand the seriousness of the occurrence of the involvement of Meteora's cofounder in this scandal. It would not be very shocking for me me if pump.fun, Raydium, Meteora and Jupiter exchange will continue to have high volume on the Solana blockchain when the government investigations for this begins.

I reckon we might witness cease and desist letters on some of these them. There is crime that have occurred direct to the founders of some of these services.

agreed, solana is a hot garbage.

too much scamming going on yet there's absolutely no consequence whatsoever toward the scammers, people just getting away with rugpulls and doing it many times without the need to worry that they'd get jailed someday.
and now even more surprising the supposedly reliable defi in a trustless blockchain is pulling string to dump on retailer, this make me realize that maybe ethereum is just better than solana.

These are some of the issues people don't want to talk about which has greatly had and still having a negative effect on the crypto which has made many persons outside the market and even those who have been affected by similar criminal acts that led to loss of their investments categorising crypto as a window of opportunity for scammers. Probably if most of these individuals behind these organized rug pull on projects are being made to face the law then we can experience things more differently within tje crypto space which could help change the dominant negative narrative.

There is also a speculation that Solana's beginning of popularity was a marketing campaign funded by the Solana Foundation. If everyone can remember the do with hat memecoin where the famous influencer Ansem has been hyping it and also Solana. This caused much investors to dump their ETH to invest in Solana and the tokens in this blockchain. However, it certainly appears that to pump everything in the blockchain, the secret ingredient is crime and we have certainly witnessed this.
