Not to mention that the second one which is the reward of Genesis block is not even spendable and should not have been included in the balance of that "address".
Can I add some information about Bitcoin genesis block and its reward that is unspendable?

Some notes from Blockchain.com explorer.

Genesis block.

Bitcoin Genesis
On January 3rd 2009, the Bitcoin network was created when Satoshi Nakamato (the project's mysterious creator) mined the “Genesis” block. The 50 bitcoin coinbase reward is unredeemable, as it was omitted from the transaction database. This means any attempt to spend it would be rejected by the network. Whether this was intentional or not still remains unknown.

Address that receives reward from Genesis block.

This is the Genesis address, it is owned by Satoshi Nakamoto and contains the unspendable 50 bitcoin mined from the genesis block.

In general I would love to see a good work of fiction based on Bitcoin. However, OP, I think you should really investigate a bit more in depth, because even if franky1 has already answered your question well, for a good work a more complete understanding would be needed than only the private key format (and perhaps some blockchain basics). The Bitcoin Wiki has some good information in small chunks which may not be immediately accessible but also not too difficult. I would suggest at least some more months of investigation.

As suggestions for narratives: First, I think many Bitcoiners would appreciate if you don't try to guess Satoshi's physical appearance (gender, age, nationality etc.). So I'd suggest not to use Satoshi as the main character but as some mysterious figure in the background. Second, if the narrative is driven by some Bitcoin-technology related issue (e.g. how a group of people benefitted from the P2P nature ...) then it would be much better than, for example, a simple crime or love story with some Bitcoin technobabble in the background. This is also the reason why you should really investigate well, to understand how Bitcoin really achieves its advantages like censorship resistance and freedom of middlemen.

Bitcoin wiki is a good place to dig about Bitcoin information and its history but if you need to save time, check this book.

Tyke did hardest job already and there is an available book for reading nearly full history of Bitcoin.
The Bitcoin History Book 2008-2024 [Paperback/Hardcover/eBook]
Read the book sample on Amazon.
The book interrior was shared there.

The address start by 1... , so it's not a multi signature wallet.
FWIW neither one of the 1... addresses posted in that topic are "addresses" where miner received the block reward because in early days P2PK was the common output script type to use and the actual balance that block explorers falsely show belongs to the P2PK script not the P2PKH address.

Not to mention that the second one which is the reward of Genesis block is not even spendable and should not have been included in the balance of that "address".

in simple terms to explain to despairo and OP, satoshi has rewards going to public keys not public addresses, which block explorers translate to a public address for easy human readability, but public addresses are not what the data stored on the blockchain is formatted as

- what would a complete novice to Bitcoin need to do to utilise that information to gain access to the Bitcoin?
This question is laughable  Grin.  A complete novice would do nothing, absolutely nothing. They do not even have a chance to access the bitcoins. We are talking about the same bitcoin that  professionals, experienced bitcoiners and technical experts have been unable to gain access to. These people understand how the whole Bitcoin network works, the blockchain technology and security of the network yet the Satoshi's bitcoin still remains a mystery to them and everyone else. A Complete novice won't even recognise any vital information that might lead him to access the bitcoins.

Instead of trying to do the impossible, he should start with learning about Bitcoin. After learning, he should proceed to invest in bitcoin with his own money so he can get some benefits from Bitcoin too, because he can never gain access to Satoshi's bitcoin and become rich as he imagined.
