You can trade crypto on DEX that is if the crypto is listed in a decentralized exchange. Aside from that most cryptocurrencies are listed in Centralised exchanges which require KYC. But there are some Centralised exchanges that do not need KYC only an email address is needed. Tyr using Weex, Phemex, and Blofin. These are the ones i know from my research.

These exchanges have similar limitation, not too big trading volume and you must accept it to use no KYC exchanges if you consider your privacy is more important issue than convenience and a little bit higher price for your cash out.

You can search and find some centralized exchanges that don't require KYC now, but because they are centralized exchanges they can change policies, Terms of Service and force you KYC anytime.

There are many exchanges that don't require KYC, but to keep it strictly anonymouse, i would suggest DEXes, and various DEX-like platforms that have futures.
It's nothing new, there are many around, just find one that suits you best and do your thing

If you want to trade crypto to crypto, there are a lot choices, but if you want to trade crypto to fiat or vice versa, there are only few options and it will be hard to trade since the liquidity is low or having bad rate. Check the sites posted by SquirrelJulietGarden.

Only a few centralized exchanges are not asking for KYC but even if they are not, soon they will start to ask you to comply just like what happened to the known ones now because before they're all like that.

i would suggest DEXes, and various DEX-like platforms that have futures.

I also want to suggest DEXes but he might not be fond of the fees that he'll have to pay there for every move he does there. But if he says reasonable, I guess they are the best option.

When it comes to KYC issues, we have it in two categories, we have a centralized exchange known for kyc and a decentralized exchange known for not requesting for kyc, now under centralized exchanges, we also have the CEX that requires for KYC and the CEX that doesn't request for KYC, you need to know there difference and what each may require from you before using them, but more preferably, I will employ that you use a decentralized exchange.

If you want quick swap exchange than I would recommend checking out eXch.
Fees are reasonable, they never ask for any verification and they have good reputation in bitcointalk forum.
Safer option is to use decentralized exchanges like Bisq, but you have to install software, wait for sync, and deposit bitcoin first.

Very correct, not many have given this simple reality of trading cryptocurrency, most of the decentralized exchanges have basic features such as coin swaps and low trading volume, which doesn't meet up with the needs of cryptocurrency traders.

So it is simple when it comes to cryptocurrency trading either choose a centralized exchange or just forget about it, DEX is the most suitable and functional for swapping on coin for another and they don't have other trading features like CEX.

The trade off of no-kyc exchanges is that they're unregulated, and the experience can differ from user to user, as well as that at a time something might work, at the next it might not.
