You are right that this may not be as exciting for some but I believe even if you do not care about ethereum this is still good news. Ethereum ETF has long been approved but staked ETF has not yet been until today. So, this simply means we are getting progress.

XRP ETF could also be approved soon so it is definitely a good time for altcoin investors as this might be the well anticipated altcoin season as bitcoin's price dwindles down.

That’s just how they are, when they’re bullish, everything they say is bullish. But they might have a point. It might not have an immediate effect, but in the long run, it could have a positive impact on the market.

Just like when the Bitcoin ETF was approved, it boosted institutional confidence and brought big investors into the space. We’ll likely see the same scenario in altcoins, and since ETH dominates the altcoin market, it practically represents the whole sector.

Although it is good news, I do not see any good news in the case of altcoins. Currently, according to the price of Bitcoin, altcoin coins have not been able to increase their prices in general, especially Ethereum has not been able to change its price. Although Ethereum has improved its price a lot with the price of Bitcoin, this season Ethereum is not even able to go with the price of Bitcoin. However, I do not consider all the news as good news until I see a rise in the price.

This news will be positive if staking return and the Ethereum price continue to rise, but if the Ethereum price continues to perform poorly, even if there is additional staking return, the outcome will be negative.
Overall, it will give a good boost to investors and I hope it will not have a negative impact.

Although, it's just an acknowledgement not fully approved but it's a good good news to Ethereum and altcoins investors as it seem to strengthen the market stability of atlcoin. However, it may or may not have significant impact to the future potentials of Ethereum and altcoins because if we corelate this to when Trump proposed to insert Bitcoin into US strategies reserve investors where optimistic that Trump administration will maximize the potential of Bitcoin but till date Trump administration has not made any policy in regard to his proposal for Bitcoin as US strategies reserve.

Hmm I almost get lost out that Ethereum and some other alt coins do have their own tokenomics mechanisms because for long now these coins has not proved independent market impression if not of following the trends of the bitcoin market except for the meme coins which we know that it mechanisms evaluating it market is strickly on over hyping.

Well said, it's not the final approval, but an indication that something good is cooking already and about to be served for the ethereum ETF acceptance, let's hope all things work together as it has been planned, because after bitcoin comes next is ethereum and if this could also be considered, then there is going to be more massive adoption and investments over ethereum and it may be it's major push to all time high.

Still good news indeed though the effect wouldn't be instant and that's why some people are really not feeling goosebumps about it. But with an Eth ETF and staking approval as the market progresses attraction from institutional investors could be building up just as we have today with bitcoin.

About bitcoin price dwindling, if you're referring to the recent drop in price since the $109k ATH that's just the price making some correction which is common with bitcoin price whenever a pump is experienced. And I think altcoins wouldn't be doing much if bitcoin isn't pumping. So altcoins despite this news still invariably react to whatever direction bitcoin takes at any point in time especially whenever bitcoin price dumps.

I think it wraps up and solve the problem with ETF for ETH.

people are hesitating to buy ETH ETF because they can't stake it, while buying on-chain allows us to gain more APR while also getting capital growth (which honestly speaking isn't really there anyway because ETH just keep dumping)
but regardless people now can just buy the ETF and be done with it while also have the capability to stake.

I see this as a win win solution for both parties.

Only those who are not excited about this are those people that are not in Ethereum, altcoins, or on cryptos as a whole. There are those who are in crypto but they are still a hater, so they will also feel the same thing. Even though the news was mostly about Ethereum, Ethereum is still like a Bitcoin for altcoins. Whatever happens to it has an impact to other alts and tokens.

And since the news was a positive one, I think yeah, this might trigger an alt season that everyone assumes about. Finally. It shows that it is not over yet and it was only getting started in fact. Those who said that it was over already last time are actually wrong, hehe.

Simple, this mean majority investors not really trust in ETH anymore. I think it's because ETH can't break their previous ATH in the last supercycle, unlike Bitcoin which already broke the new ATH since last year.

We are hearing too many things about Ethereum from time to time but Ethereum for some reason is unable to perform well on price chart. Based on this  post on X (which OP has shared) we can't say Ethereum time has come. SEC has only received the proposal and SEC verdict on this is still to come. I remember same was said about Ethereum when it shifted to PoS from PoW but nothing happened. Even if this proposal is accepted, SEC has its own terms and conditions which will decide whether its a good news for Ethereum or not.
