Most communities in suburb or rural environment are lacking means of investment or business idea, I remember one of my Journeys to Igila and idumoga ancient remote areas of Idoma land Benue state Nigeria were we go for out reach and I was engaging in a conversation with most of the youths but them seem not to be inclined to my saying concerning modern online Businesses or trading platforms like BTC, freelancing and all, it was so boring and I was thinking there is something one can do to add values to this remote communities that lack completely ideas of new era life.
I came up this following points of improving the stability of BTC and other online businesses at the remotes areas.

1. They should be a local school of thoughts and change world at the areas.
2. They should be at least local antennas network channel to help this people access Internet and communication
3. They should be a shared ideas between people at the urban, town or cities areas with local family on modern business
4. They should be encourage to learn a skills or technical know how
5. Instead of send them money for feed always, think of investing for them and show them how is done when opportune.
6. Make them see that anywhere anyone is, your can make money with smart phones, tablets and PC.

We encourage Internet business or trading of btc or investment platforms it will help better these lives at rural environment. What do you think?

What you have written is a good move to make people knowledgeable bale investing in the market.
I will like to ask you some questions because many people still believe that trading is one of the easiest way to make money in them market which is a big fallacy. Do you think teaching people how to trade and invest in Bitcoin especially in the rural area would bring about stability and profitability for them? Could teaching theee people how to trade make them become self confident and profitable??

The can be possible when the people ha e interest in what you are teaching them. There are people that would learn and not not understand because their mindset is not there. It is better to teach a group of people that are goal minded than trying to gather the whole community, teaching them how to trade and make money in the crypto space.

I don't know how rural communities are in Nigeria, but as someone from a developing country myself, I can say that in my experience, the issues in rural communities are much deeper than "they don't understand Bitcoin". It's poverty, intersected with higher level of alcohol abuse, intersected with very poor level of education, sometimes intersected with poor access to basics of what civilization can offer. In my country, it doesn't mean lack of access to the Internet, though, but this can be different in different countries. Internet penetration in Nigeria is much lower than in my country.

I like it that the op seems to also understand that it's a complex issue and this is suggesting a school, Internet access, information exchange between urban and rural areas, and encouragement of further education. #6 is related to education and Internet access to me. But as for #5 about teaching people there to invest, I think it must only be done when people are financially stable enough and educated enough to cover their basic needs. They should also understand how to do basic research and make informed decisions. Otherwise, encouraging people who are undereducated and poor to invest might exacerbate their other issues.

Although I would agree that they could have mobile phones as well but with low coverage or the cell sites are only few, then it might not be enough.
Well, owning mobile phones isn't a big issue these days even from the ones who live in rural areas, but as you said there's always going to be low coverage issue and that can't be fixed for them anytime soon.

Most telecom companies do not expand their connections to such areas due to low security and low number of users and that's why the signals in such areas can be quite low. It's better to first improve those areas by providing them access to internet and then they might adopt Bitcoin.

It's not only about the internet or having a mobile phone, the first thing a person should think is that such people can't afford to do that. Bitcoin is not a magical thing, and if you learn about it, you are going to change your financial situation changed. It's a form of money but with different properties and attributes because, unlike traditional money, it has a limited supply and it grows in value over time, but to get access to it, you still need to have money. Smiley

Rural areas have so many basic problems that need to be solved first before people from there can think of having a digital revolution hit them. Imagine not having clean water to drink, not enough food to survive a full day without getting hungry, and no proper educational, medical, or any other system, and we think they are going to love Bitcoin only because it grows in value and can give them profit if they adopt it. Put yourself in their shoes first, and think what your priorities would be from top to bottom, I'm sure Bitcoin won't be on top of that list. Smiley

That's exactly how it is in most countries, especially the third-world and developing countries where people in rural areas barely have access to things such as gadgets or the internet, and lack of education makes it even more difficult for them to understand such things easily.

I have seen some people trying to educate people from their villages or towns around where they live, telling them about its use cases and benefits, and how it can be profitable if someone invests in it, but what I always noticed is those people are all watching and reading through a single gadget that the person has who is there to teach them, which raises the question that you mentioned that how are such people going to invest in anything if they don't even have the basic necessities required for it?

Ever think why there is only a small number of users?  The problem is poverty.  People can't afford to pay for the installation and monthly bills of internet service.  Even if there all Telcom companies build infrastructure on that area, the fact that people lack fund to afford such service is the huge hindrance.  That also lead to people unable to invest on Bitcoin.  They would prioritize what they will have on the table than anything else.

So I agree that it is best to find jobs, get paid, and if there is extra, invest in Bitcoin.

True that, so it all goes down to funding... isn't it?

Informing the general public about Bitcoin in remote areas is certainly a appreciable initiative, but implementing this initiative is certainly not easy if the overall environment is not positive. The number of investors who want to invest in Bitcoin in rural areas will not be very high. Moreover, the standard of living of the people there is so low that it is not easy for everyone to invest additional money. Bitcoin has undoubtedly played an important role in changing the lives of many. People will be able to change their lives in the future, but if they cannot invest and maintain it for a long time, then they will never be able to achieve that goal. It will certainly not be possible to create that overall environment for them by going to a rural area. This requires time and proper development.
Incidentally, my family lives in a rural area and I occasionally visit my family in the countryside and indeed life in the countryside is very different from the city where it is easy to receive new information. However, in the countryside it is quite difficult, especially educating about bitcoin investment, they prefer to invest in gold and land because that is what they have believed in for years.

However, education about bitcoin is an extraordinary initiative, because whatever it is, the main thing that needs to be fixed is the mindset, so education is the first step. It does take time, but if done consistently it will definitely produce results, at least some people already know about bitcoin. However, Bitcoin is only for investment, because if you want to do business with bitcoin transactions, in my country it is clearly prohibited. One more thing that must be emphasized in educating people in rural areas is that bitcoin is for the long term, so it is better to stabilize finances first before investing. Because sometimes rural people when talking about investment always have a mindset of wanting to get rich quickly, so this needs to be emphasized.

I applaud your intention to introduce how to make money from the internet to young people in the suburbs or rural areas but the work you have to do must be very hard.

Let me give you a little advice on how to reach them. You must be able to involve community leaders in the area because usually people will listen to people who are influential in their area. So, when you have found that person, you can ask for their help in introducing Bitcoin or other technologies. It will be much easier to reach them than knocking on doors.

The OP has good intentions for the rural dwellers but there are still many challenges to overcome. Some communities are ruled by elders who have great influence over the people. Therefore seeking the approval of these leaders will be helpful in organizing such classes. Since the people trust their elders, it could also make them to trust you since you were recommended by these elders.

But it is also important to understand that most of these elders in rural areas know little or nothing about Bitcoin. This is where you need to develop a means of convincing them that you are just been helpful.

These days learning can be done online. It might be less complicated or stressful to engage these youths through social media platforms instead of facing the challenge of seeking a location and covering other logistics.

They need motivations and connections or someone that would teach them.
No matter how much we want to help people if they don't want it then it is just useless.
Some people are already contented with how they live and those kind of people would just ignore opportunity to have a better life.

Could teaching theee people how to trade make them become self confident and profitable??

and trading is not easy as people think and the problem i have now is how will the people in the rural areal even cope with handling there emotions and most of them get there money from farms and the rest and instead of trading i will prefer they hold at least when they hold anytime they are ready to sell because if it was in my region how do you even convince them that they should come and trade because there first concern will be losing money and that is why for me the best options should be holding because it is a more safer space for people with no knowledge.

Quote
The can be possible when the people ha e interest in what you are teaching them. There are people that would learn and not not understand because their mindset is not there. It is better to teach a group of people that are goal minded than trying to gather the whole community, teaching them how to trade and make money in the crypto space.

Few will want to trade, but the numbers will be very low for sure because smart people will look at both options of the house, and there won't be any reason it should be something that anyone interested in should choose just choose the one they want to do so this makes it easy when it comes to teaching and i wont lie this is good initiative at least it will carry everyone along.

We should help by teaching them through local workshops or training sessions because many people in remote areas don't know about online business opportunities. They are not advance when it comes to technologies so before helping them about other business opportunities, they should know how today's businesses works at least.

Yes, as it was said - there are elders and the ones that are the heads of the communities, and the hearts of people are in their hands, so to speak. So if you convince him that it would benefit the community, than the work wouldn't be done in vain.

OP, one thing you've to understand is that people only get exposed to things around them or things they come in contact with through books or media. Until you yourself came in contact with what Bitcoin is, you never knew it existed, right? That's the power of information. You've done that part with your exposition to those rural communities. It's now left for them to chew on what you've said. You've blessed them with information they never had. Now we should understand that information doesn't become power for the mere sake that it has been passed. No. It only becomes power when it's put to action. Some of those people you talked to will fall back on what you tried to expose them to when they leave their communities, not now. It's time they need.

Again, you should consider that inaccessibility of electricity and the Internet in rural communities is a bane to them doing businesses outside their environment. So, learning about Bitcoin and utilizing such as a means of livelihood through trading or investment is going to be a hard one for those without Internet.

Agreed with that through and through.

First, there is a standard of living and the ability to learn at all.

Crypto is not the means to fix poverty, but a tool for those who have the capabilities to utilize it accordingly.
And it's hard to push in that direction, even if it's possible, that is.

Apt! Your expression there was well structured and our people here should know that. We shouldn't think always that investment in cryptos or even specifically in Bitcoin is an infallible way out of poverty. A lot of people who had that notion have been broken by that misconception as they count (still counting) their losses. There's a negative side to everything in life. This industry isn't an exception to that reality.

it is a good thing if you want to spread information about bitcoin to people in rural areas. but the problem is the stability of life of those people is a problem that can not be solved by bitcoin. what they need is access to affordable health, free education, and jobs.

you can not discuss bitcoin, freelancing, or other modern topics, when the person you are talking to is struggling to live or they have limited knowledge for it. those people are more realistic, they will not be interested in bitcoin investment or other things, because what they think is what they will eat tomorrow or how they can make money at that time, that is more important to them.

The problem with people in this area s that they think every online opportunity such as bitcoin,  cryptocurrency and even ponzi can make one to become rich quick, that's why most people in rural environments when they want to give a try about all these they make mistakes.  People in this environments hardly tryo to make research to have understanding to know what bitcoin and  cryptocurrency is, they feel it can turn their lives better without having a job or source of income.

If people around here are willing to learn and understand bitcoin, I'm sure their mindset about bitcoin can change. I know things are not easy in rural environments but their are some people who are still making money in business,  if such people understand bitcoin very well , they can buy small bitcoin  they can afford and if they keep accumulating with time they accumulate good amount of Bitcoin. Anybody can invest bitcoin as far as you are earning irrespective of the amount. The problem people in rural areas have about bitcoin is the mindset and lack of understanding,  if there is proper understanding even people with no job will never think of bitcoin to make them rich or financially stable without having a job.

I think online businesses need the internet to succeed–it's that simple. If I set up local network antennas or Wifi hubs, it could really boost things by keeping everyone connected.

2. They should be at least local antennas network channel to help this people access Internet and communication

Bitcoin is not like an agenda thing or what you need a missionary for to advocate and spread with a rapid speed. Rural areas are known for certain characteristics until they start getting urban and city like then the characteristics of city life starts to come in gradually.

It is not only to have access to internet facility but what is the distance between the particular village and the town because it will also make such provision easier. Moreover, what is the physical businesses present in such area because people need to first understand how internet banking works before going digital, some of the rural people don't have bank accounts which is one of the simplest thing a person that is serious to grow should have.

The solemn truth therefore is that Bitcoin doesn't need such advocacy but will gradually reach those places.
