Bybit allegedly hacked, 1.5 billion USD worth of ETH stolen?

As the title says, it seems like Bybit had been hacked for more than 1 billion dollars worth of ETH. The exact amount hasn't been confirmed yet l, but Bybit indeed confirmed suspicios activity.

Seeing how Bybit is quite popular, probably some people here might be affected with this as well.

The Bybit exchange appears to have suffered a hack involving over $1.4 billion. Onchain sleuth ZachXBT reported suspicious outflows of over $1.4 billion from the top crypto exchange and listed certain addresses that were receiving these ETH outflows.

Meanwhile, the crypto exchange also reported an unauthorized transfer of ETH from its cold wallets due to masked UI spoofing accounts. However, it assured customers that other wallets remained secure.

Curious, now that most of the hacker's wallets have been tagged as "Bybit Exploiter", I wonder how this person is going to cash out these ETH  AFAIK, there isn't any active ETH mixer, right?

Thanks for letting me know. I checked Exchanges section before starting the thread but didn't check Bitcoin Discussion as I didn't think there will be a Bybit thread there since ETH was stolen. Anyway, locking mine since fillippone created his few minutes before mine and there is no need to have both active.
