Based on how he did not care about explaining the circumstances of his involvement in trust abuse, merit abuse, sig campaign cheating etc, I have very strong belief that he has more alt accounts. But whatever he does, they will also get uncovered one day. It's just a matter of time.

Very unfortunate, also that this was expected. I mean there was a small chance he would come back and also pay this loan but since he didn't this really shows pakhit's dirty character. Seeing that the defaulter was writing in the local Indian forum, we can assume he probably lives there, which means the defaulted amount is equivalent to two weeks' average salary in his country. It's no small matter.

Anyway, I think these tags have only accelerated what was bound to happen. It wouldn't be surprising if a guy like that, as he gained more reputation, would have continued asking for larger loans. Perhaps, thanks to this, sashan has avoided a future default on a bigger amount.

Obviously, some scammers are targeting him. It's a high risk business, nonetheless. Even when we talk about "highly reputed" we may be looking at members who may never acquire a loan around or members who actually try to manipulate the DT system like pakhitheboss has been trying to do.

I think Shasan should look more into the patterns. For example, why would someone borrow a loan of $100, then immediately after paying it off they borrow $200 and then $300 and then $500 in a very short time

I don't think that Shasan should be blamed in this one. The Pakhitheboss account is somehow reputable. It has some green colour and in DT2, active and also in a stable campaign. If Shasan should only approve loan to only highly reputable people, it means he will be dealing with less than 10 persons because most reputable users are not interested in loans. You know it's a business, if it's not lucrative, it's not worth it.

I don't know, but this is happening on a monthly basis in the last 3 months and 4 out of the last 5 months that somebody's defaulting their loan from you. I wonder if there's a need for some changes in your terms. Can't tell the exact though, but at least have some adjustments?

As for the defaulter, I really thought that he will defend himself when he's saying things like that (and I've already have some popcorns on my side) on the reputation thread, but he's way of defending himself is to just disappear like nothing happened. Sorry for the loss still.

You could be a victim as well. But good to see you did not lend him money. As you said, cheaters will exist in every section of the internet. I remember how worldofcoins blamed the Bangladesh community because he thought all the scammers and cheaters belonged to that local community. It turns out he is a cheater himself.

It is in such cases that you can look more closely at the profile of someone who wants a new loan next time. Living on credit does not bring anything useful, but many here on the forum are already abusing the help that shasan provides. If the borrower regularly takes out a loan, and each time he needs more, you can ask him what he would do if there were no such service. Make significant pauses in agreeing to a loan; that is, suggest that the person find other ways to solve his problems.

Yes, cheaters would be cheaters. But I believe that Pakhitheboss would have repaid his loan if he wasn't bursted and his account damaged. It is because he lost the account and thought that it will be needless repaying the loan. This goes beyond reputation, it is now integrity. If Pakhitheboss has integrity, he should repay his loan even if his account is tagged, atleast he would be remembered for it. Incase he is reading with his alt, I am encouraging him to make a loan repayment and be at peace with himself even outside the forum.

Thank you very much for your suggestion. You are right but alt accounts are not bad until they are abused by their alt account. There are two types of people who really need the funds and a few people who take loans as insurance. While the account will be banned and/or tagged the loan amount will be scammed it is the main target of those people.

It is basically a scam attempt but a few cases are still present which is not fit with this eg: mnightwaffle and HedgeFx
