This is not the first time that I heard about this type of life threatening bets, I read stories of gamblers betting on consuming plenty food within a fixed time or drinking soft drinks within a stipulated time unfortunately ended their life, I hate all these kind of betting, I think those who engaged in that act always have the confidence that they can win the bet based on the fact that they had previously done it before thus repeating the same act would be easy unfortunately ended up losing their lives I think that was what happened with regards to the story by the OP.

Yeah, the money was extremely small which I thought of it too but yet we don't know what that amount would have done for him if he was alive. I personally can not accept such risky live bet of such small amount because the money can not fetch me a thing here but perhaps if he was in a typical local area, he can buy something with the money.
