I told my friends about cryptocurrency and then i told them about blackrock....they said: "who i think i am some wall st forbes guy lol" Im in dream and btc will never go to 100k they told to me.
Not just about btc few altcoins like xrp did good too...sadly i can't respect my friends anymore because they want to build House starting with roof not with foundation the foundation the base is knowledge and info about something how it works not just "money"

Now i do understood why rich ones want to be isolated from others it's not about money or wealth it's about attitude and will to work and sharing ideas with each other and making helpful connections.

Your friends were just ignorant about the crypto system.  You were telling them about altcoins and centralized platforms. They should know about Bitcoin as a decentralized currency and an investment platform. To showcase their ignorance they said Bitcoin will not get to $100k but it has exceeded it. Your friends still deserve your respect because you might act the same way in an area you don't understand.

I think you already answered it, the rich doesn't associate with the poor people because a lot of these poor people have poor mentality that the rich doesn't want to associate with them. Take example your friends that you are just talking about, you were trying to tell them what will benefit them but they didn't listen to you, so how do you expect a rich to associate with such kinds of people. As much as am a bitcoin enthusiast I still do understand that people don't have to associate or grow an interest in bitcoin after it's been shared to them for me to say yea they have made the right decision. Some people could be having a different business they are into which is pulling good profits to them and as a result are contented with that and therefore don't feel like trying something else new, especially what they have to start doing from the scratch.

Sadly, people venture into business, without having a good knowledge of it. Foundation in this text means knowledge. Same with anything, any subject or study its much harder to have genuine sustained interest, not surprising crypto would be any different.     Most interested in cars cant handle the mechanics and may lack even the basic physics understanding of its motion etc.  Yes almost all of us trust in the invention and continued success of combustion engines, motor technology.

   I think its both positive and negative and a reflection of BTC and crypto going mainstream.    Most just want a product to work, I think BTC has to be usable by a drunk personally it has to be safe and easy enough to do that so people dont have to fear it.   I'm bullish so long as people can be ignorant of crypto exact details and yet benefit from it greatly, if that applies across the world its going to be a growth sector as it remains too rare in use at present.

everyone is different, some like stability, some like opportunity, your friend most likely the type of people who get trapped with the old idea of stability through investing in stable asset like S&P500 and call it a day, while that's not wrong, I can see why they confront with your idea and they're most likely gonna consider any new thing like BTC as just some random yapping.

personally, I just don't care with these kind of people, money always come to people who always take the risk and understand the game. now, people only gets attracted to bitcoin or crypto in general after it broke through people's expectation which pretty much means they're late to the party, but I think there's nothing wrong in educating them the underlying technical side of crypto in general.
