News update. This is headshaking. What does Bybit expect from this filing of lawsuit would do to North Korea and Lazarus? I reckon that this might be implying that Bybit is getting desperate in recovering the stolen funds. Galaxy Digital, FalconX and Wintermute loaned the funds of $1.5 billion for Bybit to cover customer deposits.

Are they beginning to ask Bybit for payment of this loan? I will not be shocked if ownership of Bybit will change on 2027 heheheh.

There's no way for them to recover it from them. Several times it was proven that the Lazarus group have been involved in many hacks but IIRC, none of its former victims were able to retrieve the funds.

Maybe just for the record or only them knows it exactly what can be done with that filing. Lazarus and North Korea will not adhere to any decision. A state backed hacker group will not listen to any of their victims.

If there are still funds in their after that massive hack and never withdrawn, they'll have to do it. Otherwise, that's so much trust that they put into this exchange but I won't.

There are funds because as I have mentioned already, they were given a loan by Galaxy Digital, Wintermute and FalconX. These are marketmakers and these loaned funds is not free. No one gives $1.5 billion without expecting payment.
