No, it is not the right time to change your altcoin to Bitcoin because you will lose the money without make a profit. If you have more funds, you can invest in Bitcoin and forget about altcoin for a while. Hold will be good for you to keep your altcoin and waiting for the altcoin season that will come. But that will depend on your altcoin lists because not many altcoin can increase higher in the altcoin season. Only altcoin that have potential to increase that will really increase while the other altcoin will stay at the lowest price.

Alts are for the time when BTC DOM falls and they shouldn't be bought by your BTC that is already in place and hodled appropriately.

These altcoins listed above are not coins I am familiar with. However, altcoins no matter the name and form are not worth hodling for a long period. Most of these alcoins strive from hypes on social media, once these hypes die, the coins crash. Newbies are major targets for such coins because they know that they have very little or no idea about how the crypto market works. This is why it is always good that you do your findings before investing. Too bad you got to know about bitcoin after this your sad experience. The mistake has been done and I advice you not to do anything with the coins but keep them in the wallet till 4 to 5 years period. And invest in bitcoin with another funds if you can. Everyone who lost money wants a way to make it back easily, but realistically this is harder than you expect or wish.  The fastest way is moving your money to an Altcoin that becomes extremely bullish very soon or to invest even more money and make it back quicker by Dollar Cost Averaging.

But that involves even more risk.  And you may lose even MORE.  So either accept new risks, wait and see if your money recovers by itself without having to sell and take the loss, or withdraw and take the loss.

These coins are risky. Why did you invest in these coins? I never heard them actually except for fartcoin I seen these on Coingecko as trending coin with massive price jump after BTC declines but right now when I check the price history of FartCoin its actually bearish. It looks like its dying.
Why did you choose to invest into these coins?

Honestly, you invested in shitcoins not worth holding for years. If you want to hold crypto for years, choose the top coins because those coins you mention might be delisted later for most of the exchanges and it will become no value.

In both ways, whether it's in gambling or trading, chasing a loss will always bring up a big loss to us because we usually take impulsive decisions in such kinds of situations. Despite when it comes to matters of finance, we need to be very careful. Like, we need to look ahead and monitor all of the critical points which can cause the loss and make a stance against them. Trading always required critical thinking because when you're trading and have lost some money due to isn't worth losing $100 more while trying to recover $10 that you lost earlier. 4 months is pretty long enough, if you have been bough bitcoin since it was dumped to $79-$80 last few days, i guess you will be assuring that your funds will get back slowly, although currently its @88k but this also means in just couple of days you can make profit from it. You don't need to hold you just need to take advantage this current huge volatility.

We can't predict the future, if we recomend yo switch to bitcoin and then the altcoins goes up, then It would be a bad move, you need to follow your instinct, bitcoin has been really volatile in the past days, so, play It smart, that means buy in the deep and sell when the price goes up, simple as that.

Nothing will change if you will convert all of your altcoins into Bitcoins. That's for sure. Converting it into Bitcoin will not cover the "x10 less money" that you already have as an impermanent loss. If you convert it, that would be considered realized loss. The question is, can you take that loss? If yes, then change it now because just by looking at the altcoins you bought, I would say that you have a very disastrous portfolio. Well, this is coming from an investor that focuses mostly on top altcoins when investing.

You said that you need to somehow close to the original amount of money, but with what you said that you already loss x10 of the original amount, I don't know how you can recover it within 4 months' time. The best thing that you can do is to average down, and cover those losses through investing on top altcoins, or trade which I don't recommend as well.

What I would say is that, if you have spare money, use it to buy Bitcoin. I also held TIA and OSMO for long time, and I sold it at a loss unfortunately, and I'm okay with it because I have some spare money to buy Bitcoin and at least cover those losses for me.
