Good that they are let people knowing about it. Do they use security key or app authenticator? If they do not use it and they think their X account is safe, I do not think they know what security is. I hope it is not their platform that would be hacked next. But I do not think the site is directly dealing with users funds but it is just like a marketplace where project developers (that might be legit or scam) and investors (gamblers) meet I guess.

I don't believe this hack! This days we can find everyone promoting fake projects claiming they were hacked and I believe that is just exactly pump.fun is doing right now.

Guys agree to let people use their channels to get their fake projects get visibility, pump.fun is very reputable and it makes it a high chance to carry out big scams which is exactly why they try to use this big accounts to promote this scam.

I don't agree with their claims of hack it's now becoming very popular that this guys are in agreement with the promotion.

First, Pump.fun has no reason to promote a fake governance token  they're already extremely profitable from their trading fees. Second, they immediately took swift action to inform users instead of letting the scam continue for maximum extraction.

just the other day, i had the unfortunate experience of seeing some dude (https://x.com/MistaFuccYou) take his own life live on twitter because he lost the last money he had on a memecoin rug pull on fump.fun.

his last words were "if i die, i hope you guys turn thid into a meme coin" and some motherfuckers did just that. this is just sad.

the problem with these X account hacks are that, nobody knows what's the cause, some people said they already used authenticator and still got their X account stolen anyway, maybe through sophisticated means like malware, or people simply lies to promote scam coins, who knows but there seems to be some KOLs that are promoting scam coins in X but also acting as if they got their account hacked.

Not following memecoins including Pump.fun's Twitter --- but maybe some of the memecoin community is large so Pump.fun will get a lot of attention if they tweet about governance being launched when it is clearly a scam.

Reason why I don't trust meme coins especially the new developed ones is that both the developers and the hackers are all playing tricky games with the ambitiousness of wallowing peoples funds.
We hears about meme coins turning to dust, is it not the developers that is responsible for it? When they fails to had been prepared to provide every necessary provisions demands to keep the coins valuable but meanwhile it is best known to those developers because their plans of making away with peoples funds in done unsuspiciously so they don't get to be blamed.
Now the pump.fun meme coin x platform official account is hack being used as avenue to promote fake coins. Who knows how it is going to come at the end of the tunnel if investors of the pump.fun coins are lather going to hear sad news that the platform has be crashed or scammed as a case of the X account formally hacked.
