With recent happening in the global world am tempted to believe some of conspiracy theories about the world super powers dividing the world in a bid to controlling it because the United States of America and Ukraine is about having a peace deal that will see the U.S support Ukraine in it's war against her enemy Russia but reading what the deals holds make me fear because the United States of America is asking that Ukraine give them access to their minerals resources that is deposit in the soil of Ukraine

What does Trump want from the deal?

According to the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, a German think tank that closely tracks wartime aid to Ukraine, Washington had committed a total of about $124 billion in aid to Ukraine.

Trump indicated security guarantees were not part of the deal, saying: “We’ve pretty much negotiated our deal on rare earth and various other things,” adding that “we’ll be looking to” future security for Ukraine “later on.”

This is coming at the hills of the United States of America and Russia trying to meet for a peace deal that Ukraine is not involved mind you Russia has already taken control of the resources from the territory that they have captured from Ukraine
This lead me to think is this world fair are these so called wars that are going on worth it and the so called human rights abuse that the United States of America and their allies where shouting about where they doing it because of the mineral deposit that they where seeing in Ukraine because obviously speaking the United States is not the only one benefiting too but some other European countries too has their share

I don't know if I understand your question correctly, but here goes my attempt:

1) The world is not divided into two parts - one controlled by the US and another by Russia. There are many countries in between which have their own interests.

Trump and his team have already done a lot of things that shock and frighten the world in the first month of their presidency. That is why citizens in the United States are already actively protesting against Trump's actions.

In relation to Ukraine, Trump really acted like a bandit at first, trying to rob Ukraine weakened by a three-year war. Apparently, the calculation was based on the impudence and, in Trump's opinion, the hopeless situation of Ukraine. Earlier, at the insistence and blackmail of the United States, Russia and other world countries, Ukraine gave up several thousand of its nuclear warheads, which cost trillions of dollars, in exchange for receiving assurances of its security protection. Now one guarantor of this security has gone to war against Ukraine, trying to destroy it, and the second guarantor is trying to brazenly rob it.

But Ukraine has withstood this onslaught, Zelensky refused to sign the enslaving terms of the deals. Now representatives of the United States and Ukraine are determining mutually beneficial terms of the deal on rare earth metals of Ukraine, and tomorrow, February 28, Trump and Zelensky will meet in the United States on this issue.

For the first time in my life, I stopped supporting the US and the dominance of the Western world. It takes a single bad leadership to change the whole narrative and it's happening now.

What is the purpose of democracy, rights and freedom if a country, for its selfish beliefs, invades another sovereign country just because they are more powerful than it and the world powers now believe that peace talk that will favour the invader is the solution?

All you need in this world is money and power, all these sanity they are trying to preach are for the less privileged. This is why the rich and powerful do the most abominable things and get away with it. Shame!

They cannot take back the lands Russia has occupied and now they have to give up trillions of dollars in mineral resources just to receive uncertain protection from the United States.

I am getting confused about Trump's intentions or goals in Ukraine. Why would Ukraine need more military equipments when he has promised to end the war. I thought the deal should be focused on using the gains from the exploration of these minerals to reconstruct Ukraine. Ukraine needs a security guarantee from the US and not war tools.

This is coming at the hills of the United States of America and Russia trying to meet for a peace deal that Ukraine is not involved mind you Russia has already taken control of the resources from the territory that they have captured from Ukraine

Sadly Ukraine will not even be in the meeting to discuss its own future. The meeting will be a replica of the Berlin conference of 1885-6, where European powers partitioned Africa among themselves without any input from Africans. The US and Russia will simply discuss how to share Ukrainian resources.

There's nothing to be surprised about. It's like this for like ever. Remember after the loss of Germany in 1945, the US, USSR, UK and France split it into 4 pieces to take advantage of the resources and get back on their investment.
Ukraine is no exception. There was Ukrainian nationality in some form but the post independence Ukraine was just an administrative division of USSR which was partitioned in interest of some people. Peace keeping is never free and I'm sure Zelensky would surely submit something outstanding from Ukraine nation publicly or secretly, this is politics and you going to pay the price for peace to reign and besides, Russia wouldn't want such gathering between US and Ukraine and so they going to send a spy to capture the whole minutes of the meeting.

You are wrong. Firstly, under the agreements with the US during the Biden administration, Ukraine received mostly gratuitous aid to protect its state. Therefore, when Trump tries to change the terms of the fulfilled agreements, Ukraine can quite legally refuse to fulfill these illegal demands.

Secondly, at the insistence of the US, Ukraine transferred its third-largest nuclear potential in the world, which amounted to about 5,000 nuclear charges, in exchange for guarantees of its security. The cost of this nuclear potential is much higher than the current aid provided by the US to Ukraine. Since security guarantees for Ukraine have not been fulfilled, Ukraine also has the right to demand from the US either the return of nuclear weapons or the return of their cost.

Now the draft agreement between the US and Ukraine is no longer openly predatory, but a partnership, which is beneficial to both states. This is the result of Ukraine's unbending position.

Are you writing that Ukraine should not resist Russia's invasion? Stupid advice. Because some patriotic Ukrainians would have been exterminated by the Russians, and the other part would have been deported to Siberia and the Far East to develop the taiga. But Ukraine would have ceased to exist. The losses in human resources would ultimately have been even higher. And in the current situation, Russia is already running out of steam in its continuous offensive since October 2023. In the main, Pokrovsky direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are already successfully counterattacking. Ukraine already manufactures about 40 percent of the weapons it uses at its own defense plants.

Russia is now on the verge of a general collapse. Putin and his entourage are still pretending that everything is fine with them, but experts say the opposite. Thing with Putin is that he isn't preparing for peace. Literally no analyst, expert or decent leader believes him to do so. Only one believing him are trump and other corrupt dictators.
And if putin is getting what he wants, like conquered territories, there's nothing stopping him from doing it again. Either towards Ukraine or other countries. He just gets more time to prepare.

If that seems too far fetched, remember that many of us thought that the recent invasion was unlikely too.

In short: if putin gets what he wants, there will be plenty more wars and lives lost in near future. So good deal definitely would be essential for peace.

I think this deal is a fair one because Ukraine doesn't have what It takes to defend their selves so this is a win win situation because if not of the help from the United States of America and other countries Ukraine must have been over taken by Russia so if the United States of America is asking for portion of Ukraine mineral in exchange for protection then it's a good one

If Ukraine had not stubbornly applied to join NATO, this war would certainly not have happened and they would not have had to sacrifice most of the country's mineral resources just to receive aid from the United States to ensure national security. So this deal is seen as good and beneficial for both sides, but in reality, the United States is the biggest beneficiary because they have spent less than $100 billion in aid but now they are receiving hundreds of billions of dollars in minerals from Ukraine. It can be said that the United States has been extremely successful in creating problems and then finding ways to solve them to reap extremely large spoils.

Ending the war is not that difficult, but how to prevent another war from happening in the future is a bigger issue that needs to be concerned and that is what the leaders are discussing.


Wars happen because of conflicts of interest and if we rush into an agreement just to end the war but still cannot thoroughly resolve the conflicts of interest between the parties, then it is a meaningless agreement.

So we need a good deal with lasting guarantees instead of a deal that just ends the war temporarily without any guarantees.

We don't know what's happening behind the curtain but for sure, those economic superpowers already know their place on this rivalry. They will surely join the race on how to take advantage of this war crisis. This war has been extending for so long already, and a lot had been ruined, not only lives but the country in general. I don't know what needs to be done for both countries to stop this war, but won't come to a settlement if one of them is not ready to give up their egoistic sides.
