If the playoffs were to begin today, I definitely think I would find the best value in going for the Cavaliers to go all the way to win the Championship, they've faced a number of adversity this season to test how solid they can be when badly down in a match, they played against Celtics and then Portland Blazers in a back to back game, they were trailing in both games by 20+ and 18 points respectively in both games, but one possession at a time, they clawed their way back and won both games

So I did this little beauty last night purely on the fact that all of the starters we're out, and the bench have been playing pretty good in their absence. And also the fact that they would be getting starters minutes and I was glad Blazers made it some what competitive. I honestly didn't envision that OKC Thunder would still turn to be as dominant as they were yesterday despite resting all of their starters, the bench just proved that they are also capable of handle business whenever it is required of them.

I took a chance on them based on the fact that they would be getting a lot of minutes, and honestly I did the ticket without knowing Caruso wasn't going to start, so I was kinda nervous about him too. The Cleveland Cavaliers are still proving to be the biggest force in the Eastern conference, they won over the Milwaukee Bucks yesterday to extend their record to 54-10 and 14 game winning streak, the highest active running streak in the league. They Cavaliers have also had a 12 more games winning streak 3 times this season, a first of its kind in NBA history, while being also being the team with the best average points per game scored this season.

In the Western conference SGA and the Oklahoma City Thunder are dominating every other team in an absurd fashion, they're in league of their own and it's not even close, they were up against the Denver Nuggets in the early tipoff on Sunday, a showdown between the frontrunning candidates in the MVP races, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokic, the Nuggets started the game better than OKC, but as the case has often been with OKC this season, every game is 48 minutes endeavor, and no team can afford to lose their momentum against them, OKC ended with a blowout in the 4th Quarter. Shai, had the better statement toward the MVP race, not just with the win, but with a 40 points outing, however, both teams are facing off again tomorrow, and it should be another enticing encounter. I'll be back the OKC as my pick for today, the line spread is currently -9 in favor of OKC, but I'll be taking OKC -7.5 @ 1.73

Cleveland Cavaliers as expected did get a win against the Brooklyn Nets, but not without sweat and blood, they Cavaliers had to dig deep for the win, already being without Donovan Mitchell for the game, the Cavaliers found themselves trailing by as many as 18 points in the 3rd Quarter, I personally thought their winning streak which was 14 before the game would end. However, just like they've done a lot of times this season, they fought back and got the win to further extend the streak.

The Eastern conference looks rather clean and almost like there will be no significant changes down the stretch, but the Western conference is still in a very volatile state, the biggest name currently out of the picture would be the Phoenix Suns, meanwhile they are 3 games away from the 10 spot, and Minnesota Timberwolves who currently sit on the first play-in spot at 7th are barely 5 games away from 2nd placed Denver Nuggets to show how interesting things can still get in the West.

I guess it was going to happen at some point, right ? But it was a great run for the Cavs while it lasted, they probably needed a break. The really irony about that loss was that the Cavaliers started the first quarter brilliantly they had a 13 point lead, if I recall correctly, they still head into halftime with as many points lead although the offense has started struggling from that point, before everything went down the hill in the 2nd half. Meanwhile, during the spell of those 16 games winning streak, the Cavs have down by as many as 15 points not less than 6-8 times, and they were able to overcome each and every of those deficit, even though they missed a number of their starters a different times during that run, including Mitchell, Garland, Mobley and Strus, all of them have missed at least one or two games over that period.

I'm sure they'll definitely bounce back, getting a 15-games winning streak twice in one single season is no fluke...
