The way they treated Zelensky was worse than the bybit hack. Zero respect, zero vision. These dinosaurs won't survive the next bear market if they can't recognize real leadership. Bet they're the same clowns who passed on Bitcoin in 2013. Some people just want to stay poor. Thoughts?

well yes seems trump and his vice got triggered by some words..
yes zelenski is not trusting of putin sticking to a truce, and thus not trusting any peace deal lasting

so yes zelenski would want a backup plan of protection should putin backed-out/broke the deal/ceasefire/peace
the way it came across sounded like zelenski was making decisions for his country best interest of safety and security, but came across as making demands of trump to keep funding a war.

trump doesnt want to give ongoing handouts of funds and weapons to keep a war going. trump wants a peacedeal, and a trade deal in peacetime

how can you have a peace deal if you are also going to do a defence fund deal second deal as a 'just incase' scenario. even putin wont trust a peacedeal if america+ukraine were also stockpiling new weapons

..

What did you expect? He was backing the Democrats even during the campaign, so I understand where Trump and team are coming from. When you keep begging, you lose a lot of respect over time and eventually even the donors or lenders get fed up when they don't get any good deal from you in exchange for the help.

Also, the senseless war. It has to stop at one point but at what cost? Why not just make a deal and stop it today?

I don't blame Zelensky for backing democrats, specially when it was getting very clear the Republican party was all into cutting the help for Ukraine in defending themselves, because in the eyes of the American tax-payer all of it was being perceived as a waste of resources which could be used within the United States instead.
I would have done the same if I was Zelensky to be honest, backing the party which was more receptive and willing to support my country in long tiring defense from a big aggressor as Russia is.
It is a senseless war, but I can understand it is about Russian imperialism, the desire of Putin to expand his power and autocratic government beyond the Asian continent.

Zelensky thanked the America People, and the president at that time was Biden. Is everyone forgetting that at that time Trump and the Republicans were blocking the aid and that costed Ukraine a chunk of territory?? What is there to thank?

They did, and there are several reasons behind being triggered by those words. The core issues of the negotiation where simply made public (which is agains even the most basic rules of diplomacy, IMHO), but there are actually core issues that Trump is not able to solve just by waiving some magic wand.

I have made a basic analysis here so I won't repeat.
