I came across another one of those projects that are doing work trying to solve the issues around data privacy, and it got me thinking about all the projects I've seen promise the exact same thing and even some that promises rewards for data provision.

But is this something that can realistically happen in crypto, can we actually achieve complete data privacy, no strings attached? Because at this point it is already even looking like we have centralized monopolies dominating Web3 infrastructure, and preventing true ownership of personal data.

That said, I don't have all the information in the world, so if there are projects whether live already or still in its early stages that actually provide a solution to these issues, I'd like to read about them and see what they're about.

You already mentioned one AB, that's allowing users take ownership of their data, but there's monero & XEC too so you can DYOR on that. But do you think users would really be in charge of their data 100%??. It's an interesting convo but I'll wait for more options. For now, saw on AB's page that now the token is live, it can be farmed via poolx.

You can consider the possibility

We here at Blacknet are looking to incorporate an oblivious message retrieval technology for privacy of lightweight wallets. I recently wrote a paper. You can peek at the introduction section regarding overall idea, and later on it goes into nuances of lattice cryptography. That being said, it's important to consider post-quantum privacy, because transaction history is replicated in peer-to-peer network.

Completely privacy can be achieved with Bitcoin. It's the biggest and only truly decentralized network out there. One just has to stick to it and decentralized p2p exchanges in order to achieve data privacy. I remember participating in data privacy re;lated projects in 2018/2019, but it never ended well. It was all just a lie

How can you expect a centralized service or network to promise you anything about privacy?
