I do not think any other crypto currency can beat Bitcoin. Bitcoin has been best cryptocurrency for over 10 years and it is unlikely that anything will replace it soon. It is special because it is not controlled by any government there is only limited amount of it and many people around world use it. Even if new technologies come out it is unlikely they will be better than Bitcoin which is already very valuable and secure, and well known. Bitcoin has already gone through many challenges and is still strong which shows it is here to stay. While new ideas might come along and work with Bitcoin it is unlikely anything will replace it as top cryptocurrency. And Bitcoin is only one and only one piece and no one can beat or cross it.

1. Please don't write all caps, that means you're shouting.
2. Bitcoin is considered a good investment and you can buy also a fraction of it. (Just to make it clear: you decide whether you invest or not and in what, don't go by my or anybody's advises or small talk)
3. There will always be altcoins that do well - usually for a short time - and a huge lot that are scams or just not going well. If you want that kind of advertising and very high risk investment (to say it nice) go ask in "Speculation (Altcoins)" board.
4. There are altcoins with interesting features, I do like XMR for example, but since in its history it has fallen more than 10x from its ATH (calculated in satoshis) the current yay prices are imho disappointing yet and I consider those calling it "the next bitcoin" just some newcomer speculators and nothing serious.

  This here has answered the questions the Op has and I think deep down he knows there won't be a replacement for Bitcoin just yet( in the future? Maybe) but instead of a replacement, the question to ask is has there been an area where Bitcoin is defaulting because people often look for alternatives when an existing tool is not longer functioning as it should but since Bitcoin continues to improve, what then is the point in asking.
 In all the digital currencies that exist, it's only Bitcoin that has the highest value and has survived since it's inception and if it's a matter of it being used as a currency by criminals, is fiat not also guilty of that as well? But it's advantages of the fiat are more.

So, you are saying ETH or BTC aren't as smart choices as they aren't "made in US" (what ever that even means)?

I thought that main strength for any coin would be decentralization and permissionless transactions. Not the fact that they would be centralized around devolopers or founders of some specific countries.
And frankly i am skeptical, but don't think this treasury is going to fly. It's a concept of a plan again and probably ends up being a mockery of the whole idea, or it will get stuck on the legislative process.

But I'd give you my thoughts about this.
First, there have been a lot of privacy coins already that have been working untraceable and one of it as you've said is Monero. But guess what? it's not trying to aim to be the next Bitcoin. The dream for the projects to become the next Bitcoin is dead, they're now looking forward to be the next memecoin and coins that have been moved by hype.

I don't think there would be anything that come close to bitcoin success in the future.

bitcoin's growth from literal penny to current price is nothing but a miracle if i'm being honest, even most of altcoins nowadays always try to replicate bitcoin's success but also need to inject some funding to get things started but bitcoin just outright goes from the very bottom to really high.

i think such thing only happens once in 100 years, so don't expect too much and don't expect there would be second bitcoin.

There's none, because if there is then we would have seen it taking over just from the same way bitcoin did in taking over the digital financial system from the centralized traditional banking system, no any coin or project can compete or compare with bitcoin, check their stats and other information about then and compare to that of bitcoin, then you will get the idea behind it all, that if you should merge the entire altcoins together, they are no where to stand the half of what bitcoin is.

Next big thing maybe but next Bitcoin? Nah, I don't think there will be any. A lot have attempted already all through the years but none have been successful. I think the next big thing you mean there is also an event related to crypto, or those cryptos that have existed already but yeah I also believed on that.

There are people that thinks it won't happen though, as they think Trump is not to be trusted by his words. I don't know about the country origin of XRP and SOL but I think BTC is not from the US. BTC is still the top crypto, so having in on his plans is the best decision that he can make. Other non US based coins can also feel the positive effects, so having them alone as a regular investor can also do the job.

The adoption of Bitcoin is heading globally; those who haven't bought Bitcoin yet will regret it, many countries will think of having Bitcoin as their economic reserve, and they will encourage their citizens to invest in Bitcoin for their financial benefits.

What i am pointing out with the statement you replied to, is that the whole point of being made in US doesn't make sense. Why would it benefit Trump? Because he wants to control the devs? I highly doubt that he undertands the concept of permissionless transactions. Because that would make him hate rest of the coins, as he couldn't control them.

But for a alt coin there is no token that will compete with ethereum. They have very big marketcaps and there is nothing that can be bigger then this.

Yes, bitcoin is the giant and there is no way that anything could replace it. Plus, you do not get multiple big new innovations in finance every decade, we are already getting the most rare thing in a long time so we should be probably seeing this until our last days. I am not saying that it would be forever, I am sure in the future someday we will get crypto to be the gone thing, past thing, like it won't even exist eventually, but that doesn't mean that we will see it, I probably won't see it.

This is why I believe that the best way to move forward would be something that will take a while and shouldn't be really considering it as something that will be a lot more important on the long run as well. It's a very crucial part of it.

Yes I do agree with you about this. There is no alt coin now or there will not be a alt coin that will reach the space Bitcoin has done. Bitcoin is unique because it was the original crypto coin.
And when people and investors think of cryptocurrencies well they are talking about Bitcoin. They are not talking about some alt coins or some shit coins.
