Do you know the mistakes other countries have made including the EU and not just Africa? They kind of like too depending on United States of America. They have forgotten that it is just a country. Donald Trump is making them know how they need not to rely on United States. It is very wrong to be depending on another country. Just defend what is yours. Do not depend on any country to help people in your country. African leaders should start thinking wisely.

Do you know the major problem with mostly Africa? They're enslaved by these European countries and US, these aides are just a pinch of the benefits US is getting from them. The leaders are also too blinded and corrupt that they wait for the relief from US to sustain their healthcare which is my greatest concern. Colonial masters still have much strong grip on the economies of colonized countries, hence their not being able to totally act independently.

Now HIV patients would really suffer very much health wise since their maintenance drugs are cut off. Maybe these countries may experience more deaths and casualties in the nearest future.

and to some extent i will say am happy about them pulling out because from the beginning the African countries have been depending on the usaid that they don't want to be of any help there self again so this is exactly why am happy about trumps decisions, about pulling out and to some extent even when you look at reasons trump gave for pulling out was about them usaid for laundering money and sponsoring terrorism.

And for a good reason, I am sure Trump must have done his investigation before such a big decision, and everyone has been complaining about what Trump did, so there is so much corruption that have been going on and this why you don't have choice because afrians needs to take there own responsible because they can not be always be depending on other peoples to grow.

If the African nations don't work together to subsidize these drugs, the death rate will increase, so they should meet to see how they can work things out instead of doing it individually.

Let's be realistic. America was not giving aid completely for free because American foreign policy was based on protecting American interests all over the world. All countries that receive American aid are responsible for protecting American interests and staying under the American umbrella, which gives them international protection. In my country, the national army receives military aid from America despite theere is no direct American interests, but this can be understood within the geopolitical interests of the United States. In simple words, this aids are like the fees in exchange for preserving American interests.

The aid cuts have both advantages and disadvantages for Africa, the rest of the world and even the United States. For Africa and the rest of the world, it will show them that depending on gift is not a sustainable thing to do because it will breed laxity and lack of vision. So it has the advantage of hurting them for now but on the long run, the advantages will come which include helping them to think inward and plan their resources properly, investing wisely and by extension enjoying the dividends rather than waiting for handouts.

For the United States, such move will definitely reducing their influence in international affairs. The saying that " he who pays the piper, dictates the tune" will come into effect because people who are not benefitting anything from them are not obligated to listen to them. For instance, the US will lose the ability to force other countries to enforce any sanction they place on any country if the country is not benefitting anything from the US.

Some African countries are at war and others are suffering from terrorist and rebel attacks. These instabilities have affected the economies of these nations warranting then to need aids from the US. We know that some of the budgeted funds were either mismanaged or embezzled but this doesn't dispute the fact that there are many African countries that really needs these supports. Without this support many of these nations will suffer in the health and other areas.

Africa is so blessed but the leaders who through their corruptions and weak institutions have impoverished the continent are bothered about the USAID funding cuts. The alternative source of funding is to begin to produce for Africa by Africans. No amount of aid will bring you as a continent out of poverty.
These aids only make you more dependent on aids rather than being innovate in order to reduce the dependence on foreign aids.

A person who gives you aid will tell you how to run your government and unfortunately, the day you refuse to listen to their instructions, they will cut the aids and your economy crashes.

Some African countries are at war and others are suffering from terrorist and rebel attacks. These instabilities have affected the economies of these nations warranting then to need aids from the US. We know that some of the budgeted funds were either mismanaged or embezzled but this doesn't dispute the fact that there are many African countries that really needs these supports. I don't have to print slogans. They're politicians they aren't telling in public the deal's they're after they're negotiating away from the public eyes. Trump isn't giving South Africa essential funds other presidents gave. If countries don't give what Trump wants he won't give funds.
